(x4 Xtreem Wireless cameras) They connect easily which is great The detection is great an picks up most movement Battery life is ok BUT the recording is horrible it only records a few seconds So if someone is breaking into your home or stealing your bike it will only record about 10 or 15 seconds of the incident I found that very disappointing :( would love to get my money back so I can get a better quality camera but its too late for that now the only thing I use it for now is live view

I've had these for a couple of weeks now and am really happy with how easy they were to get up and running straight out of the box. The picture is nice and clear, great picture at night too. The microphone is really clear also and the 2 way talk feature is great. I love that I can store footage onto the SD card (32gb included) and don't need to stress about paying for cloud storage. Solid little things but the magnetic cups hold them really well in whatever direction I need.

Doesn't record for long enough, anything sets it off so the battery doesn't last long. I certainly wouldn't buy another one. You can't set the area you want to record either

One of the cameras came with memory card that doesn't work rendering it conpletely useless. The sensor is weak or maybe the camera too slow to boot up. When it detects motion the event is usually pretty much over by the time its captured. The good battery life wasnt a lie so one star for that. Very disappointing considering these cost hundreds of dollars.
Worst Camera System I have ever come across. I spent the money thinking it would be an upgrade to the cheap little Orion camera! Trusted the Swann brand as it has been around for so long. Here are the list of issues I have faced so far after battling with them for 1 week and buying additional hardware to try resolve some issues. 1. The Swann app is so slow to connect to the cameras and half the time wont load them all but if I close the app and reload then they can come straight on. Also "authenticates" for far too long. 2. The camera will lose connection constantly - they are placed within 10m of the modem and say they have good connection (my phone has full wifi in the same spot). One camera is positioned in the carport directly above 2 cars and I can walk figure 8's around the cars and it wont even notice - I even waved my hands directly in front of it and still nothing - then other times it will notice me instantly. Just tested driving away with one of the cars - still nothing!! Setting are on the most sensitive. 4. I purchased proper mounts thinking that may help with positioning for better detection. This means I have to have the image flipped as the camera is upside down. 1 of the cameras records the footage upside down and then after 5 seconds flips over again. 5. When motion is detected and the camera wakes up it will only record for 10 seconds then just stop. Just enough time to see someone walk into vision but then nothing recorded to see what actually happens! And if you do manage to see the notification and open the app for live viewing it takes so long to load that the activity is done by the time you get in. I will be calling Swann tomorrow and then returning as I don't feel they will have solutions for all of the above issues. 1500km away for the nearest Bunnings so I am not happy!
Like several reviewers have said, the trigger time for this camera is too slow to actually capture the event. By the time it starts recording, the person triggering the camera is well out of frame. And that's when it does work. I have both cameras set to maximum sensitivity and can run past them, walk past them and wave my arms and still not activate them. Useless. I believe the tropical heat here in Cairns interferes with the sensor's ability to detect the difference between the ambient temperature and the body temperature of an intruder to trigger the recording. As this is my first foray into security cameras I'm not sure if other brands fare better, but they can't fare any worse.
Camera is easy to install and set up. However, the only records the first 10 seconds of the movement unless you are jumping up and down in from of the camera. This is whilst the motion detection is set to Maximum sensitivity. You cannot connect to the camera if there is no internet. Even if you are connected to the same wifi, you still cannot access the camera. You also MUST register with SWNN which uploads your videos on cloud. Do not waste your money. The manual is not
Nearly $409 down the drain, don’t waste your money. Yes, easy to set up and worked reasonably well for a few months, albeit very slow to activate and very erratic as well. Now one will live stream but won’t record. Swann are assisting but haven’t resolved yet. Now the second camera is continually offline for hours on end daily but will detect and record. Very disappointed.
we bought this setup to monitor my late mothers unit. all works well when u are standing infront of it, its really good. but as we have one set up indoors behind a window to see outside, every setting set to max, it dosnt activate. no matter what you do. so pointless in that case. can remotly turn on and view. but no sensor action. i give this unit a 4 because it is good in the right enviroment and is easy to use and set up also takes a memory card. the magnetic base works well, can install anywhere
I have purchased 3 of the Xtreem WIFI cameras and have found that the motion detection to be a very poor quality. I have adjusted all settings, adjusted camera angles, cameras will not pick up motion even when walking directly in front of the cameras. Will not even pick up a vehicle moving in the driveway.
