Minor air leaking from the connection is normal. The cleaner won't pick up leaves and articles. It is highly recommended to please check the Voltage range of the item beforehand only. Because the item whose Voltage range is within US Standard Voltage only i.e 110V-120V, they'll be requiring the Step own Voltage Converter if one is using the item in India as Indian Standard Voltage is 220V-240V. If it is used without the SDV Converter it will damage the item. Anyways if the Voltage range of any item is from 110V-240V, in that case, SDV Converter will not be required to use in India.
