I bought this to make a possum box & I used most of the features as described in the manual i.e. straight cuts & bevels. Found it easy to adjust, light to use & at 350W it was plenty powerful enough to cut through sheets of 12mm plywood & 19mm natural pine. Just take your time - you can't rush with this tool but it does the job.

Bought this the other day to cut 16mm MDF for a subwoofer box. Used it for multiple purposes, cutting the sheets to size, adding round holes and also more intricate inlay cuts. It's easy to operate and change to the 45° mitre cuts.It does feel kind of cheap, and doesn't have a deadmans switch. The blade is easy to remove and it looks like it uses a standard blade for replacement. I was able to cut through my MDF with relative ease, it never bogged down. Best tool if you need one without spending lots of money

Found it easy to adjust, light to use & at 350W it was plenty powerful enough to cut through sheets of 12mm plywood & 19mm natural pine. Just take your time - you can't rush with this tool but it does the job.

Great little saw, especially if you have one bung hand.
Only used the item twice in the 3 months approx. that I have had it.Does as well as one would expect for the money.
I did not find a means of getting it to hold the blade pointing in the right direction, meaning I had to aim the saw slightly off the line I wanted it to follow, which was not straightforward. I would only recommend this saw if you are only doing a one-off or won't use it much, and are only doing something basic that doesn't require absolute precision. I give three stars because its performance is perhaps reasonable for the price.
I purchased this to cut out two pieces of 10mm mdf board for a couple of chair bases. I was worried it might be too cheap. But it worked perfect. I will cut around rounded corners with the supplied blade but you have to go slow. It's suited for light softer timber and particle boards, mdf etc, not hardwoods. If you buy a high quality blade I'm sure it would work even better. This is perfect for the once off job that might arise at home.
