This sneaker from Y-3 offers a new twist on one of adidas’ most famous models, the Gazelle. The shoe has been updated in a textured suede with tonal stitching and foxing tape on the outsole that curves up on the left side. The most distinctive feature of the sneaker is the loose thread hanging from it, a reference to Japanese Sashiko stitching. Made together with adidas, Y-3 is a collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto, who uses the line to find the sweet spot between fashion and sportswear.
