Solid mount. Only complaint is you have to have a flat mounting surface for the rack to work correctly. This is a problem for my truck as the bed rail cap has raised section for about 95% of the cap. There is only one good mounting point and i cannot add another one of these mounts. However i can shake my truck with the forks on my bike when attached definitely a quality product.

I drive a Checy Coloardo and this is an easy and simple solution. Everyone needs to examine their truck bed before buying. I assumed it would go up front on the bed near the cab but it actually goes on the side of the bed. my bike rides ok but sways alot. Also if you leave it on, take the center bolt out, so no one can make off with it.

Easy to install and holds my bike firmly. Yakima is certainly proud of this mount with it costing $60 but it is well made. When the box arrived it was heavier than I would have expected and all I thought was "what on earth have I ordered" but opened it and was impressed with the mount. I like it because I didn't have to drill holes in my new truck. I would buy this product again.
I have been bungeee cording my bikes against the inside of my f350 bed to for years. The bikes shift and rub together sometime falling over as well. I just bought a new truck and i didn't want it to get scratched up. This mount from Yakima is a god send! The mount has foam pads that cushion the clamping action on the rail and it has absolutely no negative effect on the plastic bed rail. It is super sturdy and mounts the bike up high showing off the bike (it's vain to but it's a nice looking bike). While in motion and taking turns the bike sits rock solid. If you want to lock the bike just buy a cable lock and lock it to your tie downs. Buy this mount, you won't be dissapointed!!
