Yale Assure Lock 2, Touchscreen Lock With Z-wave, Satin Nickel

If you've been Airbnb being in the last few years you've definitely experienced the nice features of having a digital deadbolt lock. I was so excited to get this product as I'm one too often travel and have pets. So often I will have others come and care for my pets while I'm out of town. However always making a key or ensuring that the other person has a key can be a bit of a nuisance. Now with this lock I can set individual codes for different folks and even establish how long that code is effective in order to allow someone to enter my home without needing a key. Installation was a little difficult, but the instructions were pretty clear and helpful that I was able to do it with no assistance and no major hiccups. Disclaimer: this was sent for free to review. Very simple to install if you're familiar with these or even installing deadbolts. Setup wasn't complicated either, was easy to setup Alexa and using the app isn't anything too complex. I feel like anyone who's good at DIY and tech stuff will have no issue with installation and setup but someone who's never done this before- might struggle and it'll take a little more time Installing. Price seems a little high for what it is but the deadbolt does work well, it is made very well from what I can see, and it functions and works perfectly for me. No issues installing this or using it for me, love it!

I was completely shocked whenever i received this voxbox! I installed this lock the same day i received it. This product is top tier in technology! Super easy to install and controlled by an app… AN APP, y’all…. Can’t remember if you locked the door? No worries, check your Yale access app to double check! You can even set up different codes for different people…. I’ve been feeling out over this thing ever since i installed it! 10000/10 recommend!

The Yale Assure Lock 2 in Black Suede has a beautiful, modern, and sleek design. It includes all the hardware as well as batteries, an installation guide, and screwdriver to quickly assemble your new lock! The instructions are easy to follow and takes about 30 minutes to set up. The deadbolt is strong and secure. There are many security features such as auto lock/unlock, bluetooth capability, smart app programming, and keyless entry. You can set up multiple entry codes and a back-up key is also included.

Over the past year I have been searching for a new lock for my house, and it was thrilled when I got notice I would be receiving this for testing purposes! It wasn’t overly complicated to install, it took about an hour. I was still able to get it finished in time between making homemade cinnamon rolls, so that speaks for itself! I love that it senses when your door has been opened too long, or at all, and everyone has their own code to get in (that you allow to have access). The Bluetooth aspect is probably my favorite! You can unlock your door with just your smartphone. Definitely will be recommending to family and friends!

Another great feature is the auto-unlock. When we pull up to the house the door unlocks and remains unlocked for the amount of time we setup for the auto-lock feature. You can also invite users and send them temporary access codes. You can even select when and for how long they have access. Every feature has worked flawlessly. We are loving this lock.

Almost Perfect, but still happy

I love this lock. Our handyman did a great job on the install, but occasionally, it still doesn't seem to think it's locked, even though it is. I think it's probably because our lock installation for the previous lock wasn't done properly.Also, I LOVE when my door unlocks as I'm walking up to it, but I find it a little annoying when I have to wait for it. Sometimes it's faster to enter the code. Still overall, a great lock. I think I would buy the same one again. I chose the one with the keyhole just for a way to get in if the electronics happen to fail.

Frustrating

I bought this to replace a schlage that stopped working after many years. I wanted one that operated similar to the Schlage. This one is close. I don't care about wifi or Bluetooth. I just wanted one that I could enter my code and it would unlock or hit a button on the keypad and it would lock. Unfortunately you have to download an app and create an account just to use it. $180.00. A lot of money just for a deadbolt. Unless I missed something in the instructions, the only way I could set an unlock code was to grant another user access. Then I could put in a code. I don't feel like firing up my phone just to unlock my door.
