bright and crispy, if you want something with meaty sound you might be off with the club series, I used some of those in past and they were indestructible, I expect the same of the CBR's. Also plastic cabinet seems sturdy but the finish scuffed on first gig therefore can't send it back, so make sure you like them before lugging them around, they are nice reasonable weight.

Crystal Clear

We used these speakers outside and had them cranked up and they were crystal clear with great highs and lows. They are easy to handle for set-up but most of all they sound great. Our sound man said there is no comparison to our old style speakers.

I run sound for hire at multiple smaller style music festivals and concerts. Typically 8 foh and 4 monitor mixes. I bought 4 of these to use as monitors on stage to replace some old yamaha club and ev monitors. They sound clear and accurate which is important when mixing a band. I am powering them with a nu4-6000 which puts out around 400w at 8ohm into each speaker. I gave them a 4 star rating instead of a 5 stars because their input panel on the rear has only one 1/4" plug and one speakon instead of two each.

Yamaha CBR 12 speakers

Overall:Flew these from the ceiling in my 1550 sq ft church.I have all ways used 15"speakers but I paired them together with one sub and used the new system for the first time sunday and more great compliments from people that on any system I eve had before These are amazing speakers...and ALLWAYS zZounds is the best that you could ever buy from.
