The Yamaha HS8 is a bi-amplified, magnetically shielded nearfield monitor with 120W of power, an 8" woofer and 1" dome tweeter, with a bass-reflex MDF cabinet. It builds on the superb performance of the best selling HS-50M but extends the frequency response to 38Hz - 30kHz. The Yamaha HS8 is ideal for medium to large near field applications either as a stereo monitoring solution or as part of a surround monitoring system, in conjunction with the matching HS8S Subwoofer. The flat, uncoloured frequency response of the HS range has made them highly popular as a reference monitor speaker, while the iconic white cones hark back to the classic NS-10 aesthetics Yamaha HS8 can fit into almost any monitoring environment, and can accept balanced and unbalanced inputs via XLR and TRS jack inputs.
