This stand came as part of a Yamaha keyboard package we gave as a Christmas gift to our 7 year old.The screws for attaching the keyboard supports/feet come from the factory threaded into the mounting holes in the X-brace. One of the screws was installed cross threaded into the hole and the hex head on the screw was stripped out from driving the screw down enough to get it below the edge of the square tube of the X-brace. The screw was actually at an angle to the mounting hole. Using vice grips I was finally able to get the screw out, but the threads on both the screw and threaded hole were so mangled up from the cross threaded factory installation that both are unusable. I bought the keyboard for my daughter's 7th birthday. We haven't used it yet ,hope By the time we are ready to use everything will be fine! because we are looking for a piano teacher to start with her so I might have in future give my final review about the keyboard. I just want to review the delivery was quick and I was happy with that.
I needed to upgrade the stand for my PSR-E433 since I was getting rid of my old piano. I have used X-stands and Z-stands before, but they were too bulky and unstable. I wanted something that was stable, light and could fit my budget. I also needed room to access foot pedals, especially in a limited amount of space. Then I found the Yamaha L3C keyboard stand. It provides excellent sturdiness on all sides so the keyboard stays put, even with my hyperactive dog. The legs are rounded and don't get stuck in the radiator like my old X-stand did when up against the wall. The only downside is that you need two people to assemble it. (One to hold the stand in the keyboard's grooves and another to screw it in.) It's a little tall for sitting, but perfect for standing. ... MoreI needed to upgrade the stand for my PSR-E433 since I was getting rid of my old piano. This stand came as part of a keyboard package as a Christmas gift for the 7 year old daughterBolts for attaching the stand feet and keyboard support arms came threaded into the holes from the factory. One bolt for the support arm was installed cross threaded into the hole so much that the hex head of the screw was stripped out,Unable to remove the bolt at all (using pliers or vice grips), rendering the stand completely unusable.
I use it for home services, and connect it to a small speaker but the volume is great enough to work without it depending on the occasion. Would recommend as a beg to mid piano player. Works great
