I was happy to receive this saxophone in plenty of time for the holidays. This is a gift for my daughter so I thought I would need to figure out what reeds and such to buy so she can play it when she opens it. To my surprise there were brand new reeds in the case along with a strap. I thought that extra touch was above and beyond and much appreciated! This is a type of item that is much more than our typical budget so it was nice to see we did not have to spend even more to purchase those odds and ends separately. Everything in the case looks brand new. Even the case itself looks new! I was very pleased with this purchase! :)

I had started playing a Yamaha alto and junior high that my dad had picked out for me. He sold band instruments from his store as well as going from School to school and working with band directors. I had quit playing in junior high. My husband purchased a Yamaha alto sax for me to honor my father's memory and for the pure enjoyment and sound of instrument! I have not run into anything that I cannot say that is negative about the instrument. It is a pure delight!

I was happy to receive this saxophone in plenty of time for the holidays. Not much to say, beautifully engineered piece of gear. Everything perfectly functional, so much so that this is the second one I got. One for home practice, one to leave in class for school. If more USA parents were aware of this option, and confident of the import process and shipping, this would be the route to go….
From first viewing their website and then viewing their appraisals on each different product ( after the guy played each model ) I thought it was first class . And that was ultimately what persuaded me to buy from them .
For the first time I have a decent saxophone. Getting a Yamaha has always been one of my ideals. The smoothness of the articulation (fingering) of the keys is extraordinary! I have tried some 'made in China' horns, that have an 'angular' feel to them, that is not very comfortable. I have always played second-hand, pawn shop instruments, because of affordability. Even this horn was a consolation for what I would have been able to afford. I charged this horn on my credit card, but I received a rebate which brought the cost down, for me. A good bargain! The sound is beautiful and as sweet as I can make it. What a great sound! I love it! - jef
Ordered a Yamaha Alto Sax on a 3 month rental, to see if my long-held ambition to learn to play the sax would get off to a good start. Process was quick and simple and the instrument arrived a couple of days later. Very pleased with the service and the lessons are going well. Highly recommend!
