This keyboard is versatile in a lot of different ways. From Hammond sounds, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, etc. I definitely love the effect section to where you change the effect of each sound. I HIGHLY recommend this keyboard.

I love this keyboard it has a lot of character it's very easy to lose and it definitely sounds great. I can say hands down that this is one of the best keyboards that I have bought bought and love Yamaha
As a long-time Nord product user, I was impressed with how well it replaced my old Nord Stage 3. Yes, it's not exactly the same thing and lacks Nord's library, but for half the price of a Stage 4, it does 85% of it. If you don't fully use all the resources you have available on a Nord Stage, especially when it comes to the advanced synth engine, this is all you need.

Im glad that updating the firmware was as simple as pie. The keys are weighted, almost piano style but still playable. Its not percussive for doing organ rhythms.
It was a toss up between this and a Nord Electro 6. I'm pleased I made this choice as it ticks all my needs.Outstanding service by PMT too.
Solid Build. Excellent key bed. Lush sounds. Analog layout. Great for live use when needing to tweek sounds. 1k cheeper on a comparable Nord, not sure why, but thankful it is. Yamaha did good on this one.
