The 3.0 jig is 13cm long, weighs in at 20g and has a sink rate of 3.0-3.5 sec/m. When looking for good squid ground, you will need to find places that have either shallow weed beds, kelp beds and rocks or boulders. These areas could also have a bit of sand around the edges. Remember that between lifts of the rod you will need to allow the squid jigs to slowly sink back down. Most of the time squid will grab the squid jig as it sinks back down.
