Balanced by the vanilla I would assume, since I don't smell vanilla; but something is tempering the citrus nicely. Deceptive on burning. I believe some would say little to no throw or no scent. My niece told my father after he drank it, "Pappy, why does your breath smell like p**h". I made myself a mug of this potent brew and brought it into the room with the candle. I fully expected the coffee to take over the room...Much to my amazement, this small tumbler in a matter of minutes, made that skunky brew just smell like a hint of coffee in the room. Taking the coffee into another room, yeah, still skunky. So, people who should like this are those that don't like scented candles, or live with someone who dislikes them. It's light color and small tumbler size and light clean scent make it perfect for year round illumination. Great for illuminating jar holders that you cannot enjoy because of dark candles making only the top of it give off light, or requiring a tealight to enjoy. It should be great for those that have company over and want something that they get a hint of on entering, but won't get smothered by it if they stay long. I believe it should be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of scent preference. I also believe it is a safe gifting choice. This one can be enjoyed for an extended period, unlike some that need to be extinguished before they overpower you. So, for me, this is a must have and will be a repeat purchase. I think I'll even try burning it along with some other candles to see how it blends and if it can tone them down. I'm very happy with this!

When I first took in the fragrance of Juicy Citrus & Sea Salt in the store, the fragrance seemed promising. It turned out to release little to no fragrance when burned in my home. Very disappointing. I am a fan of White Spruce & Grapefruit and thought this would burn similarly, but not the case. It is one of those candles that smells great "cold" (before burning) but smells like nothing when burning.

A bit disappointing. The scent is isn’t strong, so unless you are standing right next to the candle you can barely smell it. It does have a fresh smell though which is nice. Lastly, I feel like lately yankee candles burn up really quickly lately. I never get the quotes ‘life’ out of the candle.
