I am a woman who loves loves loves flowers specifically ROSES!!!! I always wanted to get the candle but it was a bit pricey in my eyes. Since I am a high level fragrance lover (meaning ive purchased OVER $400 worth of YC candles EASY) I had to have it. I was shocked and blessed when it was offered as a birthday gift choice. I was finally able to get that chance and SHE did not shy not even a little. Once lit she will have your house smellling like a rose garden in about 3hrs TOPS!!! You wont regret this one. She should be the YC AMBASSADOR. 💯😄

Found this scent back in 2010 in a Yankee Candle outlet. This scent is by far the closest to having California grown roses. I've tried many brands none come close to this scent !!! There is one other scent I have used but you only have available a certain time of the year the scent is "Star Gazer" flower. Smells just as the flower Star Gazer ,which is my 1st favorite; 2nd is fresh cut Roses. Thank you for making these scents the best on the market !!!

Does not smell like your Nana's Rose powder from 1942! These are the roses from her garden roses! I swear to you that! I love this scent, it is authentic and smells wonderful and I love this one equally as the lilac scented candle! If you are a flower person who loves fresh flowers this is for you! This candle is an easy way for me to at least have that beautiful floral scent going on in my living space without having to spend the cha-ching on flowers every week! Flowers can be expensive & wilt pretty quickly, A candle is a good much more affordable alternative to have when you can't fit flowers into your budget, but you love them and they seriously make you smile and happy! Buy the candle for yourself instead! It's okay to be modest!

This is one of the most beautiful rose scents I have ever smelled. I am not a floral fan and candles, but I truly love this scent. It is not an artificial rose. It is not cloying. It is truly magical and makes me smile every time I smell it. Throw is also pretty good for a single wick original jar. Definitely worth having it burn for hours in your house on a daily basis.
I've bought this candle many times since it first came out, given it as a gift, and purchased it again recently. I find this candle unique every time I burn it. I am immediately transported to a sunny, carefree day from my past when I practically lived at the rose garden all Spring long in NJ, which is my home state. This memory is so strong and vivid, and when I first discovered this scent for the first time, I knew that I could relive those moments -- and the crazy, hectic times in which we now live seem to disappear. All thanks to a candle -- BEAUTIFUL!!! Scents are essential to our being -- just as taste, sounds, touch, and the exuberant times in our lives. The soft rose fragrance was something I've been wanting in my home for a long time. Since Covid my senses have not been the same. I've tried so many brands and fragrances from stores and they just disappointed. I finally went online and bought a small Fresh Cut Roses candle at Yankee. This is the first candle I've used since 2019 that my own sense of smell recognizes and is true to memory. It makes me feel calm and happy.If anyone reading this has had problems with your sense of smell due to Covid, I highly recommend trying a fragrence you may be missing from Yankee online. You may find, as I, that it's waiting for you here. I hope you do. Only those of us who continue to have these problems truly understand what this means.Thank you, Yankee.
I purchased three Fresh Cut Rose candles online. Used a coupon that states ordering two or three candles gets free candles. Didn’t get squat. Didn’t even get a discount on the three candles I ordered. I put in the code. When I asked why they said I had to order more candles. It was a bogus coupon. It was very misleading. I won’t order anymore candles from Yankee again. Total rip off.
Fresh cut roses is probably one of my all time favorites for several reasons. I sure wish YC would make this in a wall diffuser. I am sure it would be a major seller. It reminds me of sitting in my parents back yard as a kid. My Mom had lots of roses, tall bushes, climbing roses and shorter roses. The sweet aroma was so soothing which is the same feeling/scent with YCs Fresh Cut Roses. Great memoriesPlease start making this for wall scent diffusers
Fresh Cut Roses has been my very favorite candle from Yankee Candle for probably two decades. It has always been the only one that smells like REAL roses...until now. I don't know if I got an old or bad candle, or if y'all changed the formulation of the scent, but the candle I just received is absolutely horrible. Fake, perfume smelling garbage and absolutely nothing like a real rose. Very disappointed, and will probably never order it again now. Just why?! Why change such a classic and beautiful fragrance? I know it is just a candle, but I am so sad right now. The last time I ordered this was 2022 and it smelled exactly like it was supposed to. What happened in the last two years?
I really enjoyed this candle. I picked this candle because it was for my birthday which is in the summer time. The smell of fresh roses really reflects the scents of summer time. When I used it the room I lit it in immediately smelled like fresh cut roses. I have always wanted this candle because it reminded me of the scents of summer time which is around my birthday. I finally got it this year.
