Yankee Candle Small Jar - Red Raspberry

I love Yankee Candle and it’s always the brand I go for whenever I choose to get candle to use or gifted . This red raspberry smells fresh, sweet and fruity, the scent lasts long. The wick is strong and stable, it doesn’t go down easily like other brand. Love it.

As you can tell - a well loved favourite! This scent is to die for if you love your fresh, fruity fragrances. It doesn’t even need to be lit! Yankee Candle impresses with its extended burn time, offering hours of continuous fragrance that spreads well throughout any room. The throw is prominent. The scent itself is a harmonious blend of ripe raspberries, picked fresh and so juicy. The candle's quality construction ensures an even burn, maximising the longevity of the delightful fragrance. I like that it is made from glass. A typical candle can last me many weeks. I never experience any dipping from this candle either. Best smelling home ever

I love this scent, but it is not always available which is only 1 of 2 scents from yankee I will buy, the other is Vineyard, again very limited and only available for limited time and not often at all. I wish Yankee would listen to customer and provide them with every other scent they sell on a regular basis, even if they don't stock many, any is better than nothing. Please bring back my favorite. I also love Black Raspberry, which I haven't been able to find in several years now! The Raspberry has such an amazing smell, I get compliments from the smell of my house every day. Same thing with Vineyard, everyone has complemented me on that scent too! It is so sweet, like a smell I can't replicate with anything else.

Freak accident…one of those things…

Apparently it was a tad hot when I received the delivery, because the wax had melted around the rim. After smelling the candle I put the lid back on and the wax splashed into my right eye and onto my cheek. Believe me when I say this stuff is caustic! I rinsed my eye out and washed my face, but the burning sensation lasted for hours. I couldn’t open my eye for over an hour. Fortunately there was no long term damage…so just a heads up, be careful when it’s hot outside! Count on me to be the one to experience this…sigh.

Scent is superb. Very raspberry.Love the colours of the wax.Scent is perfect in terms of strength, nit overpowering and not too weak.Didn't know if I would enjoy this one as I bought online and haven't smelt it before.When opening it, I thought it smelled a bit strong, but once lit, it is perfect.

I love fruity fragrances and red raspberry smells absolutely delicious. I tend to change my fragranced candles with the seasons and prefer fruity or light floral in late spring and summer so this candle is perfect. I had never smelt it before, I was immensely pleased that this candle went beyond all my expectations.

It smells like sweet delicious raspberries. It's concentrated so spray once or twice and it will kill any smell, especially after you use the bathroom or, bedrooms is my smelly spots. If you see this on sale then I would stock up. Spray your living room with one spray or kitchen if you just want to smell fresh fruity scent. I have one in my room, the bedrooms, bathroom and close to the living room. I haven't tried all the scents but citrus and sage is used for relaxing but only use one spray. I also tried the Macintosh Apple and it smells like a fresh crisp apple, good for headaches. I have also tried the cotton which leaves a clean smell but also once again remember these are concentrated so test with one spray first. I live with two men with gas problems but one squirt is enough, 2 if they use the bathroom.OMG, I forget stinky baby diapers and pet odors!!! Great job Yankee I can hide it anywhere and no more aerosol sprays to kill odors. This is not a disinfectant, so clean barrel smells with disinfectant then you can use the yankee spray, same goes for bathroom. I love the fruits but I am going to try the pumpkin and others today. Don't forget to put one in the car too get the stale air smell out. I would give it a 10 stars but 5 is the highest. I think I will buy extra for that unexpected guest for Christmas. Enloy!!!

Lovely scent

Wonderful, fresh raspberry scent. Had this one a few years ago and it smells just as I remember...a great scent for Spring. Just hope it doesn’t “tunnel” like some of the other Yankee jar candles I’ve bought. Seems to happen more over these last few years despite burning the candles in the same manner and always using a glass seasonal shade (also bought from Yankee.) It’s a shame to not be able to enjoy a candle in its entirety. Most recently had the New England Maple and wasn’t able to use probably 25% of the candle due to this issue. Still love your scents and the wide selection.

Smells amazing!

My grandmother hated scented candles (mostly because the smell bothered her and her allergies), but loved raspberries. After she passed, my grandfather would burn this raspberry candle every single day. He did this for nearly 2 years. Now that he has passed, I burn this candle in both of their memories and it makes me feel closer to them, even though they're both no longer here.This scent is just right. It smells amazing and isn't overpowering at all - the kind of candle my grandmother would've loved if she gave it a chance. It reminds me of summer and home and comfort. It's just an amazing scent and I know that I personally will be devastated if it's ever discontinued.

Recently, I couldn’t stop thinking about two really good friends of mine who had brought me into a Yankee Candle shop at a mall, and introduced me to the Pineapple Cilantro candle back in the 80s. It was their favorite, and I always associated the scent with them. I was missing these dear friends, and thought to check Yankee Candle to see if they still made the Pineapple Cilantro scent. I was happy to find that they did. I ordered one, and it was every bit as good as I remembered it being. The scent transported me back in time to some very happy memories. I decided to start ordering a few other candles as well, after that happy experience.The only problem is- I had no idea what to order. As soon as the Blueberry candle was lit, it filled the room with the delicious scent of juicy, sweet blueberry pie filling. It was just the best. I wanted to order extras of the Blueberry scent, as I loved it so much, but I am a senior on fixed income, so I was unable to do so.I had saved up some money to place an order a few days ago. My friend is having a birthday, and she wanted a candle. I was going to order a candle for her, and was looking forward to ordering my favorite. But when I checked the Yankee Candle website to place my order for the Blueberry (just plain “Blueberry”) scented candle, I couldn’t find that scent in stock. I went on chat, and was told by a Yankee Candle agent that the scent had been discontinued.I know- it’s just a candle. But hearing it was discontinued was upsetting. I have been going through some rough times, and that candle’s scent never failed to put a smile on my face. It was so comforting. And it put out a TON of scent- the most of any Yankee Candle I have tried.Along with my friend’s birthday candle, I took a chance, and ordered a Raspberry scented candle for myself in the hope that it might be as nice as my favorite Blueberry scent.I got the Raspberry candle today. It’s been burning in my small bedroom for over two hours.And I can smell NOTHING.I know candle companies discontinue scents, and introduce new scents, of their candles all the time. But I just wish that Yankee Candle attached some kind of alert to the particular scents of candles they were about to stop selling, so the people that really, really love that scent can have the chance to stock up before the scent is gone. Instead, you just have to deal with the disappointment of your favorite being just— vanished. And also the annoyance that the candle you ordered to in hopes of replacing it has turned out to be an utter waste of money.The Yankee Candle agent on chat had suggested I check eBay and Amazon for the Blueberry candle. I did. They are selling for $40+ now because, I am sure, the scent is no longer available. There’s no way I can afford those prices.I feel really angry with myself for ordering the Raspberry candle in hopes it would become a new favorite. I have nothing against raspberries- I love them. It’s just that this Yankee Raspberry candle does not smell like raspberries. It smells like nothing. And now I am stuck with it.If this company could initiate some way to advise their customers that a particular scent is going to be discontinued soon, it would encourage customer loyalty. It would show customers that the company is looking out for people who have, for various reasons, a lot of affection for a particular scented candle by giving them a heads-up of its impending disappearance from their inventory.If I had extra money, buying a dud candle would be no big deal. But after this experience with this candle’s unexpected complete lack of quality- let’s just say I am not able to take more chances like that.Thank you.
