Yates 30L Premium Potting Mix with Dynamic Lifter

This should be sold as wood shavings, with a sprinkle of soil and organic matter. Started out as a better product (bait and switch?) but should now be avoided. I'm trying to upload photos but that option is greyed out. Picture a surface of not so fine wood chips,with glimpses of soil between.

Terrible potting mix. It only has shredded woodchips and poultry manure. No trace of soil or sand. Total con. Money down the drain. You can't return it also. How can a reputed merchant sell this? To tell you the truth I have also purchased Scotts Premium potting mix before this it is also crap. Only large woodchips that is all.

I probably expected too much from this potting mix with the added dynamic lifter and being frim a reputable company. But it's only really tiny woodchips( no fully broken down components) After repotting my plants in this, I noticed a lot of fungus gnats in the "soil" within a couple of days. In a couple of weeks in the pots, the potting mix became very hydrophobic, not retaining noe absorbing any moisture. I'd expect that to happen when soil has been in pots for months not fresh potting mix. Very frustrating.
