Bought this a while ago and used on my buffalo grass that was dying and covered in different weeds. Followed the bottle instructions and have only used one application and the results are remarkable! About to do second application as weeds are beginning to come through again, but if I had completed 2 applications like the bottle advised, I feel it definitely would not need to be done again!

I had clover growing in my buffalo and purchased this product to kill the clover. I sprayed it on and waited… waited.. waited. Not one leaf wilted. I waited 4 weeks thinking it may need a fair bit of tone to work.. Nope, nothing. I applied the second bottle I had and again nothing. This product can’t even kill a clover leaf. Don’t waste your time or money or this.

Only had moderate success killing clover when spraying. Complete success when using a watering can (mix 400ml of W&F Pro to 9 litres water) and no unwanted "drift" onto plants. Use when grass is dry (no dew) and in full sun. Clover wilted in two days and dead in a week after a good drenching with W&F Pro.

I was attracted to this product as being appropriate for spraying on Buffalo grasses to kill the weeds. We have Sir Walter and a fair crop of weeds. i have now sprayed two times the same area. The first time very few weeds died off. The second time some of the weeds died back but a lot did not, even of the same species. I deliberately sprayed more than recommended doses on 2 small areas with great weed penetration. Now, a week later, some of them are dead or dying and others seem to be thriving. The Sir Walter seems not to have suffered. I had deliberately chosen the spray version so that I would not have to manually spread the powder version. I tried to spray evenly over the patches.
Traumatic, horrible experience. Used per instructions. After using, the whole grass was covered in writhing earthworms, reaching up to the sky, dying in agony. Lawn covered in dead worms which were all removed by hand to stop birds eating the poisoned worms. While the product worked as described, there is NO WAY we can recommend. An awful, awful experience. Ugh.
Killed some weeds but not entirely.Made many other weeds grow even more.Separated weed and feed program, which worked a lot better. Eg. Amgrow bin die / sledgehammer than a week later mow plus fertiliser/seasol.Would work well with lawn with very minor weeds but not effective against a lawn coming out of winter.

My son has had a landscape garden business and he showed me how to apply it. It did show a slight impact however nothing more. I’ve just bought another brand-Scott’s Weed Feed. I waited for a no rain period & carefully applied this one, missing no part of both my small villa lawns. It has done nothing. I’m a pensioner so will not waste anymore $$$$s and try this Slasher after I’ve sourced online reviews of course
This is the second lot of Yates Buffalo Weed 'n' Feed within the past 4 weeks. I followed every instruction to the tee! I even put off the lawn mower man from coming. The result was disappointing.....however, I thought I'll give it another try so I bought another lot and used it on 14th. As of now there is very little sign of it's efficacy .......so very disappointed...never buy a Yates product again!!!
The product used was very good. But I think we got smaller size bottles than we paid for originally online. We ran short of solution and went to buy some more bottles and noticed the size we got was bigger in store than what we got earlier online - same 2.4L. Size mix up by the online team.Product otherwise was quite effective on our buffalo lawns front and back.
