After almost losing a customer because we couldn't talk on the phone, I decided to upgrade to this SIP phone. This thing is great! Call quality is excellent, with a ton of codecs to choose from, including Opus. Latency is low. Setup was easy... I plugged it into my PoE switch. It turned on and immediately picked up an IP from DHCP. I just logged into its web interface from there and put in my credentials. You can control most everything from the web interface, or you can make a config file to push. All of the web interface options actually tell you what behind-the-scenes setting you're changing in the config, if you hover over the help bubble. I also appreciate the diagnostics you can have on the screen. I've used the Bluetooth adapter it has too... no issues. It pairs immediately to my set of headphones.

They are good value for money yealink phone . Already comes with factory settings so no need to reset again
Great handset. Easy to setup. Good functionality. The only minus is that the screen backlight comes on in the middle of the night and having it next to my bed is not ideal. I'd buy again
Great phone - just strange why the power cord is not included. Make sure you buy one when getting this phone.
You will need to install initial firmware if you want to program through web interface, unless you are going to provision. It yourself.
My Hosted VOIP provider is familiar with the T4x range of Yealink's & had a guide to set up the primary features in just a few minutes. Even without the guide the Configuration portal is straightforward, & I easily found extras that may help in the future after initial setup. Audio quality is excellent & no complaints from microphone clarity. Authentication isn't a headache, and as long as I've got PoE it's easy to get the phone setup in under 2 minutes, (I also purchased an 8 port PoE switch for my home office, and picked this oneZyxel 8-Port Gigabit Switch, 70W PoE+, Easy Smart Managed, Fanless, (GS1900-8HP) ) 10/10
This is the phone I use in my office at work. It's a pretty darn good phone. I just wish I could get the Caller ID's to display.
Yealink makes great phones. We have hundreds of them scattered around the country at various offices, and really like them. They are well made, have great audio, and are super easy to configure, especially compared to Cisco, Polycom and Snom phones. My only knock on this particular model, is that it doesn't have enough programmable buttons for the price. For a few bucks more, you can get a Yealink phone with 8 or 10 programmable buttons. If you plan to use a pbx system, you'll want/need as many buttons as possible. We use a voiSip phone system and 10 button Yealink phones. So we can program 2 as "lines", plus 1 park, 1 group intercom, 1 regular intercom, and still have 5 buttons for "busy status" buttons, transfers, whatever. So if you have a very small office, say 1 or 2 users, and don't really need pbx features, then this phone is ok. But you can't upgrade to more buttons without swapping out the phone. So if you have multiple users, and a pbx system, then don't put yourself in a corner. Spend a few bucks more on a higher model with lots of buttons.
