This mug keeps both my cold drinks cold and my hot drink hot. The one downside to this is I constantly burn my lips/mouth with the first couple sips. Not sure why, but there is
some type of suction created that doesn't allow the fluid to flow smoothly. (Seems to be with hot liquid, although the issue wouldn't bother me with cold). Because it doesn't
flow smoothly, that first sip or two always blasts out and burns me! So annoying!! I like the mug but I am constantly peeved about that annoyance of the restricted first couple
sips. Not sure if this is a common problem, but hopefully it's an easy fix, as I hope to buy a new mug someday.

So I received two of these as gifts at my baby shower and thought… “oh nice, more coffee cups/tumblers I don’t need.” HOWEVER- I was wrong. As a new mom, I quickly realized how much longer it took me to drink my coffee and how many times I would be microwaving my favorite ceramic mug. This is a great mug. I really like the subtle green color. It's even more subdued in normal lighting, leaning a bit gray/green. I was surprised at just how big this mug is in person. I bought the 14 ounce thinking I would need the extra size for my Aeropress to fit into the top. In fact, the Aeropress is dwarfed by this mug. I ended up purchasing a 10 ounce mug after this one and it's more the size I was expecting this one to be. It fits the Aeropress perfectly and is plenty big for a reasonable-sized coffee in the mornings. If I'm doing a latte or other milk-heavy drink, this 14 ounce is a better, roomier option.

The mug arrived quickly after ordering, with no damages, no scratches, dents or peeling paint.I read the disappointment in many of the reviewers and have garnered from their experiences. I know what to expect, what to avoid and what to look for.But overall, for me, this mug is awesome. It's solidly built (as is all YETI products) and although I haven't dropped it yet, I'm sure it's durable, able to withstand some abuse. It's the right size for keeping my drinks hot until I'm done, the handle is sturdy, the mag slide cap is a handy spout to sip from.For my second mug, I got the new color High Dessert Clay. There are lots of other brands out there, but I like Yeti quality! I have had one of the old style Lowballs for several years and used it for beverages from orange juice to milk, and others. When I saw that they improved them, I decided to order a few for my kitchen. We already have eight 20 ounce tumblers in different colors so guests know which beverage belongs to them. Now, I started collecting the Lowballs. I will add to the 3 I just purchased as more colors become available. I do wish they came with color matched magnets. I dislike that I have to purchase three magnets in a package, when I only need one of the colors. Just a suggestion...maybe that could be a perk for ordering direct? :)

It was comfortable to hold by the handle or cradled in my hand. This mug keeps the inside hot but the mug outside doesn't get screaming hot.Because of other reviewers experience, I've been handwashing my new favorite mug.When I'm home, it's my constant companion, being coveted by family members. They know my new name is on the cup - YETI.For my purpose and use, this squat mug fits what I needed, wanted and I expect it to be around for a long time.

I could not be more thankful for my Yeti coffee mug and tumbler...but not for the reasons most Yeti customers are. In the past year, my employer gifted me with a coffee mug and a tumbler, with our logos on them. I'd been using them for cold water and hot cocoa, which was great. Then, this week my husband and I both tested positive for COVID-19...we are both high-risk for severe covid. We've been using our Yeti coffee mug and tumbler around the clock, constantly re-filling them with warm soothing liquids. We go to bed with them next to us, to sip warm liquids during the night. Because our Yetis keep our liquids so warm for so long, they have helped us keep hydrated and kept our throats from being sore. For a few minutes yesterday I tried a bottled drink...and then ...
