Yeti Rambler 20oz (591ml) Travel Mug with Stronghold Lid Black

First off excuse the wet lid, I had coffee and washed everything and remembered after I was suppose to take pics. Anyhoo! I use this mug for everything that I wasn’t to keep hot and I mean everything including chili and soup on the go during under the weather days during the winter. It does an amazing job keeping the contents warm for an extended period of time. I have other cups for cold stuff so I can leave a review for those cups later. What I like most about this mug is the size. It’s not another jumbo 50 or 40 ounce mug that can’t fit in your car cupholder or can’t fit in your purse. You can easily throw this in your bag or just hold it in your hand and not really feel bogged down. You can easily throw this in your bag or just hold it in your hand and not really feel bogged down. It’s easy to wash if your patient and know how to be very thorough with these kind of cups that’s supposed to be insulated. I separate all parts of the cup to wash including the insulation and around the cup lid. Once a week it’s good to soak them in diluted lukewarm bleach water. Set out to dry and don’t reassemble until all 3 are bone dry. My only gripe with this cup is that I had to buy a separate lid that had a cover over the mouth hole because the default lid that comes with this cup is just open. It has no cover on it like the lid in my pic. That means if you mindlessly tilt your cup the wrong way you can burn tf out yourself if you have hot fluid inside versus cold I don’t like that. I feel that it’s super dangerous!! If that’s a concern for you like it was for me then when you order this cup go ahead and search for the lid with the latch that goes over it because it makes no sense that they sell this cup with a wide open mouthpiece, knowing that it’s meant to also hold hot fluid in addition to cold - just dumb af. Other than that it’s a great cup to have to contrast from all the big boys if you have a lot like me.

A serious coffee mug.

This is just the most recent of the Yeti products I have. Even the dog eats and drinks out of Yeti bowls. My belief is that if one pays for a good quality item, one will take care of it and that is so with Yeti products. I had been drinking my morning coffee from a smaller Yeti mug and decided I wanted to try the heroic 710 ml mug. That I could get it in red was even better. It has a serious handle and is quite substantial. In those instances when my wife and I brawl over the breakfast table it gives me a fighting chance against her collection of massive pottery mugs. Because of its large capacity I need only fill it once lessening those vulnerable moments when one is getting more coffee. Great Mug

Red is my favorite color so it’s only natural for me to have a red Yeti. I’m not sure what I was expecting when I ordered this, but I was blown away when it arrived.First, it’s THE perfect shade of red. Not too blue, not too orange. Just right red is what I say.Second, it fits my cup holders in my Acura RDX perfectly. Not many drink containers do and this was a welcome surprise.Third, it’s the perfect size for a can of soda with ice. I use the lid with straw and I couldn’t be more pleased. I use the other lid when I drink coffee from it and my coffee stays hot for hours. (I have noticed ice melts quicker when I use the lid with straw vs the traditional lid; not sure why that it is.)Fourth, it’s totally portable. I’d own more of these Mugs if I could find them locally; online shopping isn’t always convenient.

Not great, but OK

I got tired of buying/replacing travel cups bought elsewhere. I was looking for a 30oz, handled and leakproof cup that could be put in the dishwasher. This model had mixed reviews, but I purchased anyway. I am not totally disappointed, but there are a couple of things. The handle is awkward - the size makes it weird to grip it (female, med-sized hands). This says it is leak resistant, but it was in a cooler that got knocked on its side while in a car and the full cup leaked out into the car. When I add hydration powder to water and shake it, drops fly out. So far, I have not had issues drinking from it (the suction problems other mention), but I can see where that might be an issue. Perfect size and great color!

Excellent product because it will keep your drink cold with minimal melting of ice for many hours and I am never without a Yeti and my favorite drink. I never use for hot liquids but imagine it would keep them hot for a long time also. This is the only brand of insulated cup I will buy. Since I’m always knocking things over or dropping them, I especially love how well the top fits and the sliding magnetic closure because if I accidentally knock it over or drop it, the lid will not come off and there will be no spillage as long as the opening on top is closed. I was hoping Yeti would add a handle to these insulated cups so was pleased to see the handle. I did wonder if it would hurt my hands because it is larger and heavier and I have RA so returned this one. It didn’t occur to me that I could hold the handle with my fingers and use my thumb to hold onto the inside of the lid for a better grip. Please be aware of this very different Yeti mug!

Terrible! The lid is a twist lid which means it’s not interchangeable with my other yeti mugs. This lid also does not have a wide enough opening for a straw in case you want to have iced coffees which are perfect now during the hot summer months. The lid is super complicated when cleaning because when you remove the mag slide magnet, the bottom magnet falls off. I also ordered the matching camp green mag slider magnets to replace the generic black one, but they don’t fit this style of lid. If I had known that, I would’ve never ordered them now I’m stuck with three camp green mags slider magnets that will not fit on my mug! Wish I had known. I sent a letter to customer service explaining and the answer I got back from them was “ Oh those magnets don’t fit on that ... MoreTerrible! Terrible first purchase from Yeti

I couldn't have had a worse first time purchase experience with Yeti. I have received Yeti products in the past as gifts and enjoyed using those products so I decided to make a first time purchase, however the experience was just terrible. I purchased this product along with the 36 oz water bottle. There were faults with both. With this product, the 30 oz travel mug, it came without a magnet for the mouthpiece. I reached out to Yeti and customer support and multiple times they sent the wrong item, which I had to correct them each time. They finally sent out a magnet replacement, and when received, it was the wrong one. The Stronghold lid is a bit contentious

I love my Yeti products; I use this one daily in my office and it works beautifully. Keeps my ice water ice cold almost all day long. If I had any "complaint" it would be that for some reason, the lid on this one (I have the same 30 oz. travel mug in green) seems to be a bit more "awkward" than the lid on my green Yeti. Not sure why but this one seems to require a bit more fanagling to screw it on correctly. It will get there eventually - with the right amount of persuasion - but the lid on my green travel mug screws on/off with not even a hiccup. This one just seems to be a bit more finicky. Apart from that minor issue, however, I still love my Yeti products!

Very Happy With My New Extremely Heavy Duty Yeti

I am extremely happy with my new Yeti. Extremely well built and very well designed and extremely Heavy Duty and extremely high quality and I absolutely love the color. It's awesome for when your traveling with a hot cup of coffee and to keep it hot all day or when your at a Summer party or get together or just sitting out on the deck enjoying the Summer breeze to keep your cold drinks cold.The only downside is that Yeti or Yeti product sellers don't have the screw on lid straw for my specific Yeti. I just wish Yeti or Yeti product sellers would have the screw on lid straws on the market to sell for my specific Model and for all Yeti ramblers and for all Yeti tumbler models.There should be a screw on lid exactly like what came with mine except it should have a ... MoreI am extremely happy with my new Yeti. I have always loved the King Crab Orange from the first time it was around and I was really happy to see it come back being I wanted it with the handle. The color is bomb and it does what it needs to do! My coffee will stay hot all day. I actually remove the lid to let it cool some so I can drink it lol. It also keeps cold stuff cold as it should!Now why I took a star away- The lid. It screws in just fine and doesn’t leak. It will leak through the sipping hole while closed. But the problem I have is the vent system they put on these lids. It I s through the black slide in th middle. If it gets any liquid in it, it’s very hard to drink.
