I’ve been obsessed with water bottles for years. I’ve owned several other brands and kept having to replace them, either too small, didn’t work as well as it should or I’ve dropped them and no longer worked. Fast forward to Christmas 2019 when I received the 36 oz rambler water bottle. Wow, you can feel the difference in quality. This bottle keeps my water ice cold all day(s)! Now, it is a bit heavy and has fallen several times and gotten beaten up. It may not be as pretty as when I first got it, but it’s got character. Since I’ve gotten this bottle, my obsession has shifted from generic bottles to Yetis. I purchased my wife a 26oz and son an 18oz, which he quickly needed to upgrade to the 26oz. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Camelbak Chute is better

I own a Camelbak Chute insulated 1.2L bottle but was always curious about the Yeti bottles. I decided to buy this huge bottle for a 2 week climbing trip. I found it had similar insulating properties to the Camelbak but I prefer the Camelbak mag lid. The larger lid has a handle which prevents the bottle from rolling off the passenger seat and makes it easy to unscrew. The yeti one can get quite hard to unscrew at times. The upper cap on The camelbak is small and held in place by the strap and magnetic holder. The upper cap on the Yeti requires you to hold it or put it down. The Camelbak lid makes it easier tk drink as the handle is used as a lever as it rests again your hand. The Yeti is really hard to one hand. Doesn't, but it is BIG

I love Yeti products! I have several models, including the 30 oz. Tumbler and the 10 oz. stackable mug. Such high quality and they keep cold things cold all day long! Hot things don't stay as hot for as long, but they stay hot long enough for me. I had a plastic 32 oz. water bottle and it was fine, except that by the middle of the day the water was room temperature and by the end of the day it tasted plastic-y and it's difficult to properly clean all of the crevices to prevent mold. And forget about leaving it in the car in the summer while you run errands! Plus, if it gets turned sideways or upside down in my work bag, it leaks - onto my laptop! However, because of the large size, it's a bit unwieldy (I'm a 5'3" woman) and I have to use both hands to drink out of it, so I look like a baby drinking out of a baby bottle :D. Also, it doesn't really bother me that it doesn't fit into my car's cup holders. I just lay it on the passenger seat because I don't have to worry about it leaking! I will continue to purchase Yeti products for myself and as gifts as long as the quality and customer service remain the same.

Overall great bottle, but cap seems to be designed to break.The two part cap Is made out of one translucent Lexan type material, which is extremely sturdy, hard, and with a high measure of toughness (that’s an actual material science term). The second part of the cap Is made out of a much softer kind of black polymer with a large handle, but a very small thread. With time, the black part of the cap Seems to undergo what’s called creep deformation, which is the result of prolonged stress over a long period of time. In this case, it’s about 2 to 4 months. As you screw the cap on, it will slowly screw down further and further, until you eventually strip the threads all together. I love the Rambler

I love this bottle, it is convenient when I have a long stretch at work or having to spend extra time outdoors in this summer heat. I can fill it with ice and the contents remains cold throughout the day, even once the ice melts.I chose the cosmic color. The lavender shade is lovely. I get compliments often as lavender is a popular color with my colleagues it stands out and I do not have to fuss about which bottle is mine if others are carrying a similar size. The Rambler is a popular design with my colleagues so there can sometimes be a collection of cups during meetings.The weight of the cup is a bit heavy. I have a 16oz Rambler that I carry in my side pocket when traveling and walking nature trails if it is a day spent outside. It also holds up to being leak proof and true to the extent of time with hot and cold beverages. I carry hot tea in it every morning and it stays hot through the morning before switching to ice water. It holds ice for a long time before it initially starts to melt, so water stays cold. The wide mouth Rambler lid holds true to durability and having a great seal when cap is on. It can withstand up to being knocked over by my students if they bump into it or want to hold it but accidentally drop it on the carpet makes it a nifty mess free water bottle that will not come apart if it slips from little hands. It is a great bottle overall to have and true to the allotted time to keep drinks hot or cold without altering flavor of beverages such as tea and coffee.

I've had it for 2 months, time for a review

I don't like straws at all. They're typically difficult to clean, they get lost in kitchen drawers and honestly I feel like a child sucking on a water bottle or tumbler with a straw. A friend of mine had the Rambler with the Chug cap and I knew I would love it. I got the 26 ounce with the Chug cap in white and also grabbed the bottle sling while I was shopping. Let me tell you. Not only does it hold ice for 2 solid days (not even close to kidding) and it NEVER leaks but the Chug cap is hands down the best thing Yeti has ever done. I take it everywhere! Hiking? Sure, let me throw it in the sling to keep my hands free! Going to work? Yep, there too let's toss it in the bottom of my bag! THE ONLY WATER BOTTLE YOU WILL EVER NEED

I am in the military and I bought this last year to use while working outside all day. I had tried many different water bottles before but none of them seemed to do the job. This stainless steel bottle exceeded my expectations. The lid is simple, and easily comes on and off with every use. The handle makes it convenient to carry with out it swinging around everywhere. It slips in and out of my uniform pockets and luggage so easily. I put ice in it in the morning and never again for the rest of the day. The best part is, I accidentally left this outside for 3 weeks with a little bit of water left in it. When I finally found it, it was covered had made it through freezing temperatures and heavy rain and was covered in grass and dirt. The water I left inside, was still crystal clear and the bottle only had a couple of minor dents and scratches to show for it, no paint chips or major defects. And unlike most other bottles, it exterior is very temperature resistant. You can grip this bottle without burning or freezing your hands off. Did I mention that thing also keeps ice cold water all day in TEXAS HEAT? After going through dozens of bottles for years, I feel like I’ve found the holy grail. I wish YETI had more availability in stores, because more people would get them. I always tell people to get one, but this model isn’t available everywhere, especially the 18oz. I would say I can’t wait to buy another, but this one will probably last forever, or until I loose it.

WORST PRODUCT TO DATE, NO More Yeti purchases

What a waste of time and money. I used to rave about my yeti products, NEVER again. I'm a long term user and have what I call the OG totally stainless thermos design. Something has to have changed (mine first ones weight more than what they now advertise). Short version: 3 thermoses, side by side did NOT perform the same. The only one worth the money spent was one of the old school versions. The 2 new, colored ones are CRAP. I wasted money on two bigger ones, thinking I was buying the same product. I will never again recommend Yeti. All thermoses were chilled in the fridge over night and had the same drink mix. We opened the smaller one and life was good. We opened this one, and it literally BLEW UP. It got so warm it fermented!!!! Mind you, it was only out of the ... MoreWhat a waste of time and money. You cannot kill this water bottle

I am a state trooper in South Carolina. This has been my daily use water bottle for work, as well as when I am off. I have had it for over 2 years now and it has held up great to daily use and abuse. That is to be expected, though. The reason I am writing this review is because earlier in the month I was working a traffic detail at the RBC Heritage golf tournament. This water bottle was ran over by cars not once, but twice, in the span of 3 days. The second one definitely was the better smack of the two, causing major dents in it, and even popping the silver trim piece on the bottom completely off. I was able to reassemble everything with little difficulty. And I am happy to report, although it is now remarkably ugly, this bottle still functions as it did on day ... MoreI am a state trooper in South Carolina.
