I prefer room temperature or slightly cold water. So when I saw the new Yeti Yonder in 34oz green I had to have it. This bottle is by far the best and smoothest water bottle I have put to my lips. The chug lid smoothness is like no other. The bottle design is well thought out for easy gripping. The seal on the lid will not fail you. However, I learned the hard way to only put it on finger tight. DO NOT over-tighten, it has a foam reading that seals tightly on its own. Can not say enough good things about this water bottle.

I think a lot of people don’t quite understand the reasoning for a water bottle like this. It’s meant to be light weight it’s not supposed to be insulating in any type of way. Honestly I bought this water bottle because the clear one would look awesome with fruit flavoured water with berries and lemons and ice in it. And the smaller drinking opening would work so I don’t drink in the floating pieces of fruit.Personally, this would be the type of water bottle I would take travelling with me because it’s not as heavy as my insulated one. Of course they’ll get scratched up eventually but right now it looks so beautiful and clear.

The water tastes clean and the handle makes it super easy to run out the door with. I got the 32 oz which is the volume of 2 standard plastic water bottles. I keep this with me on my desk, in my car and at the gym. It helps me drink water and I love that I can see through it to know how much I’ve had already. It makes drinking water so much easier and the green color is bright and fun. This is just a water bottle, hence the 30 dollar price range. If you want a bottle keep your drink cold for an entire day, buy the 50 dollar range bottles. I'll tell you why I love this concept. It has a small opening for drinking. AND it has a lid in the lid, so you can screw the entire top off for the dishwasher. I rarely find time to bottle scrub all of our water bottles and the scrubbers gross me out after a couple of uses. Dishwasher ready water bottles are my favorite and they are hard to find. I bought 4 of these and I don't regret it. Thank you Yeti!
I love this bottle. When I got hiking I just need room temp water so this bottle outshines the stainless steel ones for me in those situations because of the weight difference. My only call out is the cap option. Sometimes if I too tightly secure the cap, the entire top twists off when I go to open it. Also, on occasion it would be easier to have a pop up straw option. It’s something that’s quicker when moving. I hope in the future that’s an accessory we can buy.
Perfect for flights. I have so many water bottles but was still in need of one that is light, leakproof, skinny so that it fits in my backpack sleeve, and that has a cap. I carried it empty then filled it at the airport. Even though I stored it sideways under the seat in my backpack holder, it never leaked unlike my other bottles. I also love it for the gym because drinking out of a Nalgene bottle is a pain with the wide mouth no matter what. It’s simple but works perfectly. I will likely buy the bigger size too. No issues with this bottle.
It’s disappointing that you’ve changed the lid system, for no apparent reason. I purchased my first yeti around 2010 and have multiple ramblers, that I interchange the lids on.This is a great idea (plastic) for weight saving reasons and honestly drinking water doesn’t have to necessarily hot or cold. Which brings me to my next point , the straw cap, the straw cap is perfect for sipping water, in the gym or mid climb, one handed operation. And now you’ve eliminated that option for this “yonder “ bottle essentially making it useless.

Then, months later (yesterday!) I saw them in person in a store. They are soooooo nice in person! Super well made, definitely a high quality Yeti product. The plastic is so smooth it feels almost like it’s glass. I love that the cap is a chug-cap style like my rambler water bottles. It’s super light so I can see how it would be great for hiking, dog walking etc… when you don’t need to keep ice in it for days. Bought one @ the Austin flagship store and really enjoy it. I only write this today after receiving Yeti's customization option email this afternoon.These need fluid volume measurement lines on the side. Other brands who have made similar products for decades do this. Yeti clearly looked @ these products when designing the Yonder because the lids are interchangeable as are accessories (eg water purifiers etc.), but they didn't carry over volume measurements. These are really useful and critical if measuring water for food, coffee... They already print the Yeti name on the side, please take the next step.Yeti, please start adding volume measurement (OZ and ML) lines or add an option for this in the custom shop.

It seems smoother and I love the ribbed edges where you twist the cap off. It’s the perfect light weight and fits in my GMC Acadia cup holder (though a little snug), it fits in my diaper bags, and my purse. I needed something lightweight and refillable that doesn’t leak, looks nice, etc. what a winner! Oh, and the smooth flat line along the side of the bottle gives a nice added grip. Huge fan! I hope this comes out in an even smaller version and in pink someday. I have tried a few other brands and they always leak and/or are an uncomfortable size to carry around or drink out of.
