I bought this racket about two weeks ago and I love it!! I used to play with my Voltric i-Force and Nanoray Z-Speed in competitions. However, the problem with Nanoray Z-Speed is that the shockwave created when you smash the birdie will all the way send to your shoulder, which is painful when I was doing two-hours smashing training. But now, seems Yonex finally came up with a solution-Astrox 99. This racket makes smashing so easy that you won't feel any pain from your shoulder and hand after playing two hours. I'd been playing badminton for 2 yrs+ now using the G-TEK Muscle 80X. Crappy racquet but it was a starter one. It was time for an upgrade. My experience was nothing short of wonderful. The racquet I chosen was well-weighted, beautifully-made and strongly constructed. However, it took a bit of time to get used to considering it was a new racquet and the balance kinda threw me off, hits nothing but air for the first week. One thing that left an impression on me to order from this store is how they string my racquet. It was nicely stringed and to topped it off, they went out their way to paint it as well.

Love the racket! Felt a bit weird a first switching from the voltric zz 2 but it is not hard at all to switch to this racket, especially if you are comfortable playing with a racket like the astrox 88 s. I highly recommend this racket ( for the more advanced players though)!
This racket is great - I do feel like I paid a bit more for it than I’d have liked to. If I could go back I may have gone with the flashboost as the price point is better.

The racket frame seems OK. But the stringing is very poor. The strings are loose so the racket has no smash power, which is why I bought it it is heavy headed to give power to the smash. So it is of no real use to me and I have stopped using it. Very disappointed.
My most preferred bat. Already got 3 Astrox 99 in my bag. Two was purchased from Click. Very fast service and lady customer service is very friendly. I never restring my bat before since purchase them because the strings too good from the stringer. My preferred choice for product and stringing. Always recommend
The build quality of the racket is very good. It is stiffer and heavier than my old nanoray900. I am still getting used to it. And this is my first order on Yumo. I am pretty happy with the experience except a little bit longer waiting for delivery.
