The package was well received and the racket is in great condition! Great job!Although the racket may lack the power you may want at the rear court, it is still great for players who prefer playing at the front more as Yonex advertised. I recommend playing this racket with feathers over plastics

The Astrox 88d Tour is a great racket both for singles and doubles. It's great for generating power in smashes and great control for drives. However if you are better at the net, you might want to check out its counterpart, the Astrox 88s. This racket is decent at the net. Over all this racket is amazing.

Coming from headlight to even balanced rackets (over 20 years), I first bought the 88D Pro (4u), then bought the 88S Pro (4u) about 2 months later. Bought the 88D Pro because online reviews are generally more favorable than the 88S Pro. However, all down to personal preference as I felt the 88D Pro becomes too head heavy for me after a couple of games.88S Pro has a more suitable head weight for me, and just a better all rounder between the two rackets in a doubles match, and definitely easier to defend against smashes. Slightly shorter shaft so definitely makes net kills a breeze!Again, Badminton Click is just the best place to buy rackets. How did I only discover them this year?
Great choice for an intermediate player. It's very light, lighter than you would expect. But you can generate a lot of power easily. I can clear backcourt to backcourt without a problem. I got mine strung with BG66 at 23 lbs.
Having started playing again after a ten year break, i was looking for a good racket to get up to speed again. Technology has certainly moved on since i last bought a racket. Obviously iam not playing anywhere near as well as i used to but ive found this a good balance. I can easily get lobs to the back of the court and it is nice and fast for defensive shots. There is a nice balance between flex and stiffness and i like the slightly head heavy for smashes. This is certainly a good racket to get me started again.
I am in love this racket and so happy to use it. This is so light and gives an amazing felling after you hit the shuttle.It gives me full Control ,Power and Speed. I am in love with this Powerful weapon which suits my all rounder style.It gives me Full Control and delivers a Powerful Smash.The racket is so light that it gives an amazing feeling after you Hit the shuttle, due to which I can easily play long rallies. I only used it few times but really like it. Especially when you play at the net, this racket is fantastic. But for Smasher, it might not be as powerful as you want. I would like to string it with Exbolt but unfortunate, that string was not available so I went with Nanogy 95. Also very good.

My all time favorite racket is the ti10 with 24lbs of bg85 string. A little light racket but I generate a lot of power and all around touch.With that being said, now I'll comment on the Astrox so you have a comparison. I usually don't have a high tension string job but I thought I might try it out with the this racket and string combo. Found this combo to have flat response when smashing but with good control.
