Yonex adds another chapter to one of their most stable player’s racquets. Named the VCORE PRO 97H and Endorsed by Stan Wawrinka, this model replaces the 97 (330). Like the previous generation, this racquet is designed for the advanced player who wants plow-through, precision and feel. For 2021, Yonex tweaks the shaft geometry to help the racquet bend more effectively during impact. They’ve also added a slightly thicker beam for extra pop. Under the hood, Yonex adds 2G-NAMD (Flex Force) to the graphite layup. This is designed to help the fame snapback more effectively during impact. Other material updates include Flex Fuse which utilizes a soft polymer in the layup for added comfort. Yonex's signature technology remains the ISOMETRIC head shape, which creates a larger sweetspot and more forgiving feel. As with the previous generation, this update includes VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh), a handle technology used to reduce harsh impact vibrations. From the baseline, this update feels solid against heavy pace. In addition to its great feel and spin-friendly precision, the 97H delivers impressive power to those who can leverage its mass. It also feels stable when redirecting pace at net where the touch is outstanding. Ultimately, with some impressive updates to the beam construction and feel, the 97H continues to be a great choice for advanced players who want stability and precision.

Very arm friendly and control oriented racquet. Love the feel it produces but at the expense of slightly reduced power. The racquet stays stable while returning fast oncoming balls.Overall a solid 9/10 racquet.

If you´re a regular tennis player with an advanced level already, and you´re starting to feel your arm and your shoulder after two hours of practice, then this racquet is for you. Plenty of confort with it, enough control with the shots and some power ... not much, but you have to put yor effort in it. The strings choosen were a bad combination, but I´ve already replaced them with YONEX Poli Tour Pro 1.30 and the improvment was significativ

I needed 2-3 games to adapt to it. It’s actually not underpowered, feels light and easy on the hand, very manoeuvrable. Used to play with a 315g racket, this one is 310g and it feels lot lighter. Don’t string it too tightly, 23kg max. Love the buttery feel of Yonex rackets. It’s a jewel in the hand.
Just got the LG3 size and it's slightly more than 310g with strings. I'd been using Vcore Tour 97 before but I think I like the feel of this Vcore Pro 97 with string tension of about 46lbs. Still have to give it more playing time though before I could really tell the difference. The matte green color looks very cool!
Excellent Racquet and a very good feel. It takes little bit of time to get adjusted. Once you get used to its rock solid. You can feel on volleys forehand and backhands
There isn't much to say about the downsides of this racquet. The "isometric" head increases ball pocketing providing stability, feel and a little bit of power. The lighter version of the VCP 97 (310g) is really nice because you can provide a full swing without overshooting - plus with a 16x19 open string pattern, this racquet is accessible to topspin for that extra dip on the court. It is still a maneuverable racquet (not the best in terms of maneuverability) but if you connect the ball during volleys up at the net it is very control friendly. However this can also be said for groundstrokes.Probably a little heavier than racquets of its kind, hitting flat shots with this racquet is an absolute joy. Highly recommend if you are an all-court player.
Top spin: low Impact hitting: good Volley : good Return: good Angle generation : less Drop shot: best Slice: best Groundstrokes: less top spin ,more for impact player's. Perfect Doubles racquet as it suits all aspects of doubles game
As a 50-year-old with a wonky shoulder, I haven’t played without pain in 25 years until I bought this VCore 330g. The racquet’s weight, balance, and stability produce precise, penetrating serves, volleys, and groundstrokes while reducing the strain-of-impact that has sent me to the medicine chest for years. As a happy bonus, this racquet has added a few mph’s to my serve and increased the depth and accuracy of my shots, particularly slices.
