I'm a retired shut-in geek, so a Huge fan of The Spiffing Brit. That should certainly be enough to convince anybody that I'm a serious person. I also, having lived in Germany and Poland for 16 years, like tea. Yorkshire Tea is "Tea". It's the basic experience of a "Good" tea that you should have. Don't have to brew it for 6min or double-bag it like my dates do to me. It's got a low price here at Wally's AND impresses those online camera girls from England when You give them a tour of the Trailer. Seriously. Trust me.

This is my favourite brand of tea by far and its also my boyfriends favourite brand of tea. I know some people will say tea is just tea but you really can tell the difference. I dont normally get to have this brand very often because our local shop doesnt sell it. Im disabled so the furthest I can get to on my own is the local shop. I normally only get to have this tea if a family member goes out and buys it for me. The nearest shop that sells it requires a car or public transport to get to. I cant drive or use public transport because of my disability. My boyfriend gave me the idea of looking for this tea on Amazon and Im very glad he did because I found it on Amazon for a really good price. Because of how many tea bags you get in the pack this will last me at least a year. Even if I had 3 mugs of tea a day which is more than I normally drink it would still last a year. This tea is really good value for money and I would definitely recommend it. Its the nicest brand of tea I have ever tried and I have tried a lot of different brands.

I bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. Had to pay postage to France as not covered under Amazons free delivery but still worked out to be quite a good deal. Delivery was quick and well packed. On opening the massive bag, was a little surprised at the way in which the bags were haphazardly packed. Just tossed in the bag with not the usual impeccable arranged packing found in smaller batches but I suppose this is to be expected considering the nature of the packaging. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was ... MoreI bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. On opening the massive bag, was a little surprised at the way in which the bags were haphazardly packed. Just tossed in the bag with not the usual impeccable arranged packing found in smaller batches but I suppose this is to be expected considering the nature of the packaging. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was identical to those purchased in UK. The doubts about the quality of the teabags started after the first brew when we noticed a distinct difference in the flavour and strength compared to the known highquality bags we had already in our possession. We tried allowing more time for the bags to brew, but the result was the same. We have now resorted to using 3 teabags to obtain a decent mug of tea for 2 people. We use just the right amount of water in the pot to obtain exactly 2 smallish mugs of tea. So, my question has to be Are these teabags the usual TOP quality or have they been degraded and put aside during a quality testing process If this is the case, this should be clearly marked on the packaging and mentioned in the Amazon description.

I cannot live without this tea, it is that good. Been a tea and coffee drinker for as long as I can recall, and I like mine flavorful and proper strong. With most US brands I had to use 2 bags per cup for strength, but they still lacked the body and flavor I wanted. Most were bitter or flat. Enter YORKSHIRE GOLD...the absolute best tea, period. I have PG Tips as well but prefer the flavor of Yorkshire Gold. A tiny splash of milk or half and half makes it sheer perfection. It makes a lovely iced tea, too.

For years I drank pg tips as it was a household favourite when I was growing up - recently after hearing good reviews I swapped to Yorkshire tea. I started drinking the normal everyday teabags and then tried the gold variety. There is no looking back now it is the nicest tea I have ever tried . The bags make a delicious cup every time . I haven't tried another brand since I converted to it . Although ' gold ' costs more to me it is worth every penny . It is rich flavoured and strong bodied but not overpowering. Great with milk and sugar . Highly recommended

Ignore the negative reviews!

You won't get an all day breakfast tea that's better! Trust me I've tried the lot for years trying to find it! Makes all other teas tasteless in comparison, lovely tea taste and malty it's perfect. Anyone leaving negative reviews won't be making it right, probably a few stirs and loads of milk! I live in a hard water area and this is perfect with a water filter. You can even try bottled water from Harrogate where its blended or other soft water from Scotland but I've found just filtering water is good enough and can't find any variable taste unless the filter needs changing. Rolling boil water straight in the teapot 1 bag per person. Aim for about 225ml max water per person, stir then leave it for 4 minutes. I did try clipper organic tea on my last shop as not had it for maybe 3 years, this made a a decent brew but way behind Yorkshire, sort of flat but still better than PG that was nice about 30 years ago not now! It's when you try other teas you see a world in difference in taste.

Absolutely swear by this tea. Its a proper brew. I would be lost without it especially in the morning. I love how rich it is and the flavour is like no other tea brands. Highly recommend it. Ive tried other brands but this is a must have favourite for me.

odd taste

Long time buyer of Yorkshire teabags and their loose tea. Big fans in fact but the latest box has given us a cuppa with an odd burnt plastic taste. (Not our kettle which is metal!) Weve all noticed one by one that it tastes odd and not so enjoyable. Really not sure why this has happened. We bought a box of 240 this time. Not sure if theyve used a different blend. Will try a smaller box and if no good will try the gold version. After that will sadly have to move on to a different tea. Such a shame. Weve loved your tea for ever !
