Received 2 monogrammed towels as a wedding gift 20 years ago that are 100% cotton and have held up extremely well. Excited to find the same brand of towels online. Upon receipt the towel felt much lighter. I washed and dried one towel on delicate to try. Numerous pulled threads resulted which was surprising but I trimmed off. Upon using, the towel felt like a cotton polyester wicking sock. Upon checking the label these towels are only 83% cotton. I guess the rest is modal polyester. Disappointed in the decreased quality. These towels will not last and are not worth the high price I paid. Returning. One star provided only as the minimal required rating.

Love it. It dries fast and it’s very soft to touch. It is expensive but I think that it’s a good investment. I like silver color and navy.

I bought 2 Yves Delorme Etoile bath and hand towels in Fjord. They are very soft and luxurious. The color is a nice deep Turqoise. They are thick, yet lightweight and absorbent. They feel better than almost any hotel towels I've ever used. They have only been washed once so I will have to see how they stand up to repeated washings. So far, I highly recommend though I wish they were a little less expensive.

Ordered 2 bath towels. One bath towel was delivered ripped along one side. Very poor quality and not what I expect from this brand Yves Delorme.
I love these towels. I bought them about a year ago as a test. I'm kind of a towel snob and was curious about the addition of Modal, a fiber I know from better intimate apparel products. Modal is extra strong, shrink resistant and stays soft wash after wash. I'd been using microcotton towels for years and was always unhappy after 6 months as the towels become less and less soft. Decided to upgrade to Yves Delorme to see if there was a difference. I am very happy I did, the colors are gorgeous and the towels still very soft after many, many washings. Splurge, you'll be glad you did.
I purchased YD Etoile towels in 2017 and they have held up wonderfully. Mine are washed every three days as I have 4 sets and I rotate them putting laundered ones on the bottom so they all get equal use. They are still very plush with no wear to the bath towels, no strings and very little lint. After six+ years, the hand towels are the only one showing slight wear at the Dobby area. Since the hand towels are used so much more at the ends, that is the only place of slight wear. Since we do so much hand washing during the day and with covid, even more. I will be buying them again soon. The best part is the plush absorbant feel of these towels. Absolutely love them.
So I have tried all expensive towels in David Jones. These are the only ones that maintain color, softness and shape, they do not shrink after multiple 40 degree washes in my Miele washing machine and drying in the Miele dryer on cottons cycle. Divine, wonderful towels. I have two sets that lasted my family about 5 years. They still look like new, even the color has not faded. I just had a new set in bright blue and compared the color - looks exactly the same. Especially nice to buy these when there is a special one. Thanks David Jones
Once you have slept or used Yeves Delorne it’s hard to use anything else; French Linen is the best in the world and this product lasts for years!
