Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Hyper Finish Setting Powder

First off the im in LOVE with the packaging. It’s so push and luxurious and it mirrors the quality of the product. First touch is like a nice powder and a really nice matte finish. There is a faint powdery scent but it’s nothing too strong that irritates my sensitive skin which is a HUGE plus. I’m so happy that i got to try this powder out. I wore it for a nice work occasion on a really warm spring day and i just think my skin was really patchy that day but the powder did enhance my dry patches a little so i took it off and dabbed a little concealer and lock it in and that seemed to be fine. Amazing compact, powder is light translucent application, not cakey

The packaging is amazing! I'll be keeping and using the compact forever, very good quality mirror with it. Mirror and compact is big- a very good size.The product is scented, smells kind of like perfume, in between highly scented and medium. Powder is white but goes on skin translucent, no ugly white under eyes or on face, no white with camera flash. Gives a matte finish without drying out skin or looking cakey, thin light application. I love that it's translucent and not white on the face.This is the best product I've gotten so far.

Beautiful packaging and product

First of all, this is some of the most beautiful packaging I have seen at this price point! The compact feels heavy, has a magnetic closure, a mirror, and a separate compartment for a sponge! The product itself is also very nice. It is finely milled, and goes on truly translucent. It does not make you look like a ghost, like other white translucent powders. You don’t need a lot to achieve that beautiful matte but natural skin finish. I did notice it has a slight scent, but it does not bother me at all. If you’re looking for a luxury compact + powder, this is for you!

FLAWLESS!

I’m in love! This powder is absolutely phenomenal. It leaves my makeup flawless, blurs imperfections and controls my oils. This powder is truly translucent and does not change the color of my makeup which is super important as an African American woman. I love how luxurious the packaging is and it looks super cute and eye catching inside of my purse. The compact features a mirror as well as a powder puff for easy touch-ups throughout the day. The lid is also magnetic so I don’t have to worry about the powder being ruined inside of my purse. I highly recommend this powder, it’s a must-have for sure.

I got this free from influenster/YSL to give an honest review.The packaging is really nice. It's a sleek design and feels sturdy.It does have fragrance in it, if that is an issue for anyone thinking about getting this. It did dissipate pretty quickly after applying. Also, now that it's been several days since I opened it, I don't smell it unless I stick my nose to the product. When I first opened it the smell was very strong.It is matte like they describe. It isn't too heavy on the skin. I've used it with foundation and to for just like a blotting powder without makeup because my face gets so oily throughout the day. It lasted for a good while. The pictures I have I did forget I had makeup on and wiped my nose so that was my fault.

This is a beautiful powder. Historically, I’ve used Laura Mercier, but this one is seriously a game changer. The hidden round applicator in a separate compartment underneath the product is thin and helps to hit every area, even your receding features (e.g., the folds where your nostrils meet the rest of your face) that are often hard to reach. The powder itself has a light but luxurious scent, and is extremely fine yet pressed so deeply into the container that you have to swipe the foam applicator across it to pick up product. It’s not difficult to pick up product, but rather the degree to which the product is finely pressed into the container results in almost no wasted product. I am not usually a pressed powder or matte girly because I have really dry skin and I haven’t been able to find a powder that didn’t cake or accentuate my dryness. I was reluctant to try this product at first but I am oh so glad I did! At first, I applied the product only to my t-zone as this is the only place where my makeup starts to slip. The results were amazing. The finish was a beautiful glowy matte and it instantly blurred my pores. As I wore throughout the day, there was no caking or drying out. I tried applying with a puff and a brush, the puff was definitely the better of the two. First to comment on the packaging! So luxurious and beautiful!!! It is kinda heavy tho. I feel like that’s the only possible thing I could complain about and it’s not even a complaint.Now to review the product itself. It comes with a sponge which is convenient but I’m a brush girly so that’s kinda useless to me. The powder itself looks white in the packaging but applies translucent. I didn’t have any issues with it appearing white on my face and I’m pretty tan. It did it’s job. It mattified my face and set my makeup but being completely honest, there are alot of other setting powders that can do the same thing for a lesser price. Smells amazing!

I have used this powder for about a week 1/2 and I like it a lot! The packaging is very luxurious and it has a nice floral scent. I normally use loose powder so my face does not feel sticky, but I love that this pressed powder does not have fallout because my loose powder tends to cover everything. Over the past week, I have used a powder brush to apply and have tried the powder over my Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation and the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua foundation. If you prefer a less sticky feeling, I would use a more matte foundation like the Double Wear because it did not leave my face feeling sticky. However, the powder over the Chanel foundation felt slightly sticky although it made my face look very luminous. Smooth and blurring under the eyes!

For starters, the packaging on this powder is absolutely gorgeous! Every time I open it, it’s like a little treat! I was initially a little worried about the powder being white as I tend to go with a powder containing some color, however this did not look stark white under the eyes. This powder did a great job at blurring/setting the under eyes without making them look cakey. I tested this powder with flash and it did not have any flashback in photos! I am a big fan of pressed powders and this did a great job at diffusing my makeup. My only con about this product is that it has a very strong floral/perfume type scent to it so if you are sensitive to fragrance I would be careful. I can deal with the scent though as it is a gorgeous powder for my dry skin!
