L’homme is an absolute must try for men! It’s a gorgeous, classy, refined scent that exudes taste. It’s a classic for a reason and deserves a spot in a modern man’s collection. Works beautifully as a signature scent and will get you positive attention. The scent profile of l’homme is not some sweet bubble gum type of cologne for kids, this is for men who know what they like and know how to make a good first impression. As a plus, it can even be used as a great after hours or date scent (or use la nuit de l’homme…trust me on this). 10/10 fragrance from an exquisite house.

Hints of spices give this fragrance a warm spicy character as they make room for a beautiful violet leaf note. This note adds a bit of color to the scent! Whenever I smell violet leaf, I immediately get an ozonic, fresh almost cucumber esque smell. Not in a bad way, but in a clean fresh way. Overall, I would describe this scent as warm spicy, aromatic with a dose of citrus at the top. As it dries down, it becomes very soft, semi soapy and gorgeous. Such a smooth and inviting scent. While the longevity isn't an issue to me, this fragrance is no "beast". It lasted around 6-7 hours on my skin with 8 sprays since it's a light scent. It does linger but doesn't project much. Perfect for professional spaces, office, work in general or even for a date. This can even be an everyday fragrance! I hope this helps anyone out. I recommend getting your nose on this beautiful master piece.

Excellent performance with sharp protrusion, long lasting longevity is established. Performance is directly directed into any forward facing nostrils via sillage, all around and inside the blow holes. A citrus top then the meat of the fragrance appears, as if user were slathered in fragrance rub citrified maximally nasally. Incredible, there is still a faint remnant of citrus an hour after application, well into the mid notes. Subdued and spicy yet drives the women wild with wanton abandon. Severely lacking in lack of character. A creative scent designed for maximal sexual reaction upon nasal deployment.

Still carrying the sweetness of YSL La Nuit d'lHomme, however, YSL L'Homme Eau de Toilette has a different scent. The opening is the refreshing freshness that creates a pleasant feeling of 2 Citrus scents, orange and lemon, along with Ginger, creating a relaxing, clean feeling. The next notes emphasize the spices, the combination of Spices, Pepper and Basil, along with warm Tonka beans leading us to the charm of a mature gentleman in the evening parties. Fragrance lasts 5-6 hours depending on the body

Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme is just incredible to me. From the moment I sprayed it on, I was enveloped in a captivating blend of freshness and sensuality. The opening notes burst with zesty lemon and ginger, setting the stage for an elegant heart of violet and basil. What truly sets this fragrance apart is its base of cedarwood and vetiver, which adds a subtle, masculine depth that lingers throughout the day. The longevity is impressive, lasting well into the evening without losing its charm.

Bring back L'Homme Ultime

This fragrance doesn't compare to L'Homme Ultime which was the Eau de Parfum (concentrated) version of this scent. The Eau de Toilette version is as unremarkable as the name implies. It's a shame they discontinued the original fragrance. I purchased this version recently at Nordstroms out of nostalgia of the original which is sorely missed. As others have noted, this version relinquishes quickly and misses the depth of the original, which did lasted all day. It needs to be said that it's a steep price for an Eau de Toilet cologne. Please bring back the Eau de Parfum version.

Devine scent for that wonderful man in your life!

This is a delicious scent for a man. My husband started wearing this cologne a year ago and he’ll never be without it. This is his scent and throughout the day it stays lingering and makes me smile. At first, I was unsure, but as you grow to wear it, you smell different scents which grow on you. When I first bought it I was unsure until he started wearing it and we both fell in love with it. It’s light yet strong and it’s a perfect balance!

Great smell but with weak performance

I’m a bit torn on this one. On the one hand, the fragrance smells amazing when you first apply it, and for about an hour after. It’s a nice fresh and versatile option that can be worn year round. It’s also a safe scent, which is a good option for the office. However, the performance is awful. I feel like I get no more than 2 hours of performance from it before it becomes a skin scent, and that’s with 3-4 sprays. I guess this is one that you need to reapply, but at the price point, it doesn’t offer great value based on its performance. If you want something very mild that’s only detected from up close, you’ll like this, otherwise, there are better alternatives out there.

You should never buy an aftershave or perfume without smelling

You should never buy an aftershave or perfume without smelling it first and I wouldn't with this one either. However, this is my favourite scent which has a light masculine aroma. It has very little spice and is not peppery like a lot of aftershaves. The bottle top design is a little 'clunky' but it doesn't affect the product. If can, but the 100ml as it lasted me a very long time
