Another success for YSL with this fragrance. This one is the pure perfum version of the eau de parfum and it’s even better. Similar to the eau de parfum, the packaging is nice and understated and the presentation of the bottle is very chic with an elegant black shiny bottle and the classic YSL printed on it. Overall, I would describe it as modern yet masculine with a sweet touch and I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for something elegant yet forward.

Luckily, I was given an opportunity to try out the newest fragrance from the MYSELF line called YSL Myself Le parfum. I definitely think that this fragrance can be worn year round as it is well balanced between the freshness, spiciness, and sweetness of this fragrance. The projection of this fragrance was really good with the longevity on average on my skin being 6-7 hours. Overall, I loved this fragrance and I love what Ysl did with this line. I definitely suggest trying this fragrance out if you do not mind vanilla notes as this fragrance is very versatile and is a compliment getter as well. From an objective standpoint after the first 10 or so minutes of wear this becomes a decent floral/vanilla mens fragrance.I say after 10 minutes because I’d rate this a 2/5 when I first spray it on the skin. During the initial sniff the scent smells very soapy as opposed to floral and the scents have not blended. The patchouli is very off-putting at that time, the pepper feels disconnected. Within 2-3 minutes the scent starts to change and by the time you hit 10 the blend smells much more elegant. So this version of the fragrance goes in a bit of a sweeter direction due to the orange blossom bourbon vanilla and amber. I wasn't a huge fan of the flankers before this, but this one has won me over. The packaging is now matte black with shiny emblem for the YSL. Up top you get black pepper in the mids you get a little bit of freshness and in the dry down you get ambery vanilla with a bit of woodiness. If the original was Bruce Wayne then this is Batman. This is going to be a certified compliment getter and great date night fragrance. This will definitely be getting some wearings for the cooler autumn and winter months. The sweetness isn't cloying or bubble gummy and it feels a bit refined. This is perhaps my favorite version from this particular line from YSL. ... I was lucky enough to receive this product from Superdrug Community to sample and I am thrilled with this fragrance and the scent of it.To begin, the packaging is very minimalistic, a monotone black and white. The bottle itself is black, but looks very sophisticated and luxurious and is a wonderful addition to your collection.Being a woman, I've always been a big fan of most male-targeted fragrances, as well as fragrances targeted towards women. It has a refreshing woody, musky scent that is really lovely and not too overpowering. As the hours progress, I find that the heart notes, those comforting citrussy notes start to come through a lot more, almost becoming a different fragrance, which I find so fabulous.The fabulous thing about this product is that, because YSL Beauty is committed to reducing their carbon footprint and impact to the environment, their bottles are all refillable.You are even able to refill the bottle from the comfort of your own home in three easy steps:1. After you have used the last drops of your fragrance, you can take off the cap and unscrew the pump from the bottle.2. Then you screw the refill onto the bottle neck, unlocking it once it is secure by turning it to the ON position. It will stop automatically when your bottle is full and then you will turn it back to the OFF position.3. Lastly, after turning it off, remove the refill and then screw the pump back onto the bottle.A wonderful fragrance for anyone and truly innovative, I would highly recommend.
