Just the packaging alone was a good reason on why I love YSL lipsticks. I love this shade so much that I plan on buying more to give as gifts to my mom and friends. The star in

lipstick looking application. For me, these comes off as a slightly shimmery nude balms. Pros: Gorgeous! Smooth! Cons: You can’t customize it aside from engraving. I can
also guarantee that I would never pay full price for these but I have enjoyed them the last few days. From order to delivery was maybe 4 days max including the weekend

Just the packaging alone was a good reason on why I love YSL lipsticks. I love this shade so much that I plan on buying more to give as gifts to my mom and friends. The star in the middle gives this sheer glitter but it blends in so well on your lips that it’s perfect! I’m so happy with YSL lipsticks, just taking it out of your purse makes you feel luxurious and beautiful when you have it on. I really like this balm! It’s definitely not a lipstick. It does look like you’d get more color payoff but I prefer this product as is. Keep in mind- this is a BUILDABLE formula, which I love, so you will not get full opacity in one swipe. That also means you will have to reapply throughout the day. That's not a flaw of the formula, however. That's how this nourishing, shiny balm is intended to be. The great thing is that even when the lipstick wears off, these stain your lips so it fades beautifully and leaves color behind on your lips.

Love love love this lipstick! Worth the money. The formula is very creamy and soft, it feels almost like a lip balm on the lips. You can apply the colour very lightly or build it up to be more pigmented. There are also tiny silver glitter pieces that add a little bit of added sparkle. The lipstick also smells incredible - kind of like orange candy cream - and the scent lasts a long time. The packaging is obviously incredibly luxurious. I want more!!!!

The has a plant sourced glitter star core, which is the cutest looking thing in makeup history! It comes in a gorgeous and luxurious looking packaging. The light pink tint (I bought shade nr. 3, Pink Flow) is absolutely gorgeous, giving my lips a subtle light pink shade, complimenting the natural colour of my lips and my skin with it's medium coverage, while the star core makes my lips look shimmery, glamorous, plump and full. My lips are feeling soft, smooth and hydrated and the lipstick is quite longlasting too. In my experience, matte lipsticks are the most longlasting, but the Rock 'N Shine, which obviously isn't a matte lipstick) definitely lasts for a few hours before needing a touch up. Wonderful lip gloss. I ordered it in four shades. Each shade was the perfect color, texture, and smelled heavenly. I wish YSL still made this particular Rock n Shine group.

I love this lipstick as a quick glide-on colour that has pretty decent staying power for a non-matte lipstick. I usually always use a lip-liner for more dramatic finishes but since this is more wearable than a bold matte, I can go without the lip liner and still achieve a pretty pout. The glitter in this is so pretty when the light bounces off of it! The glitter also isn't grainy, which at first I was skeptical that it might be. The packaging is gorgeous and so luxurious when I pull it out of my bag to reapply. I wore this lipstick under my face mask and while there was some transfer (which was expected), it did not affect the colour on my lips. I also ate a whole meal with this on and there was still colour on after my meal. I reapplied after the meal, but I do ... Ok #1 is how my package was wrapped or should I say not wrapped. I have received several high end cosmetic deliveries and usually you open your shipping box and find your merchandise in another beautiful box with company logo and wrapped absolutely beautifully…..not the case with YSL literally everything just thrown in a shipping box, first thing when you open is cheap bubble wrap. Not the presentation I expected when buying a high end cosmetic. I sent a email to customer service in stating my disappointment with my unboxing experience. They don’t care. So I go to a company who does care to put the extra when it comes to how I receive my purchase. Bye Bye

It's an underrated lipstick and I don't think a lot of people know about it, as opposed to the gold rouge volupte line. In my opinion, the packaging does feel less in quality compared to the gold ones and its color pay off is a bit on the drier side. With that said, I still incorporate it in my daily makeup and love the little star in the middle and glimmers. It's fun and different.
