Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat All-in-one Glow Foundation - B80

This is my everyday TM/foundation. It’s a light, “fluffy” consistency and only somewhat buildable. It provides light/medium coverage so only use if you don’t need a ton of covering. Plays nicely with Kosas, NARS and Tarte shape tape concealers. I apply with a damp beauty blender…not the best with a foundation brush. Only 2 downsides: 1. the minimal shade range…but it’s so blendable that I don’t think an exact match is necessary; and 2. The packaging is nice being that it’s hygienic with the pump but it leaves a ton of product behind that won’t come out. I have to cut open the top and scoop a very large remaining amount of product into an empty jar.

First off, I think this is more of a light coverage foundation rather than a tinted moisturizer. I love the consistency: it has a slightly watery gel texture. You can blend this easily with your fingers, which makes it a great option for when you're on the go. I prefer to blend with my fingers and then go over it lightly with a damp sponge. It gives a very healthy glow, without being fake or over-the-top looking. It has a scent, but it's not overpowering or bad. It lasts all day on my normal to dry skin as long as I set it with powder and setting spray.

This foundation is more or less a tinted moisturizer. Although the shade isn’t a match for my skin tone, I very much enjoy the consistency and the packaging. The packaging is travel friendly, lightweight and sleek. It comes with a pump. I would recommend it to people with dry dehydrated skin. This product is gorgeous! It’s the best skin-perfecting foundation I’ve tried. It doesn’t feel oily but you can definitely see the glow after application. It is very flattering to the skin. I look like I mastered my skincare when I wear this foundation. The coverage is actually near perfection. It’s not too full where it looks like a mask but it’s good enough to cover most imperfections. I tend to get dry patches with most foundations, and they don’t look smooth on my skin. Provides the skin with a flawless natural glowy finish. It wears amazingly all-day long and I get equally oily in my t-zone with a mattifying 24-hour foundation, so I do think it should be fine for combo/oily folks. A little can go a long way with this, one pump can give your entire face a very light and even finish. If you want to build this to high-medium, I’d recommend using 2-3 pumps. YSL was notorious for having quite underwhelming ingredients in its All Hours foundation (which I love so much!) and now Alcohol, the number 1 anti-aging enemy, is the second to last ingredient, which is amazing. It also has Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid and an antioxidant complex - pretty decent for a makeup product.Cons - Besides the typical strong smell that might upset sensitive skin, I don’t really see a lot of cons in this product.Why it’s Fab: Spring and Summer are coming soon enough and I like how most brands release very fresh, natural-looking long-wearing products, ideal for the upcoming months. This is like a weightless smoothing filter on the skin, looks incredible for the most part, doesn’t oxidise and it is very travel-friendly - the squeezy tube comes with a very nice pump! I do think this is great for everyday wear, in Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. I highly recommend it to everyone 🙃

B20 is usually too light for me but this time, B20 is just right which shows that the colour has actually become darker than the previous YSL foundations before. I have combodry skin type. Though the foundation prides on being moisturizing, I could see my skin flaking after about 45 hours. Be sure to prep your skin well before applying this foundation. For the price and name, I feel the foundation has fallen short. It was not moisturizing enough, nor was it absorbent of any excessive sebum. It takes longer to apply evenly, and longer time spent for preparation. The merit of this is that it did not oxidize after longtime wear but most would have been gone anyway... my foundation search continues...
