I was colour matched in a store when I was working away from home for a couple of days and had forgotten my make up. I expressly said I did not wish to change my skin tone. Looked fine under store lights and BRIGHT ORANGE under natural light. Pointless purchase with no chance of a refund as customer services will only discuss on line purchases and I would need to spend £12 and a two hour round trip to go INTO my nearest JL with no guarantee of a replacement or a refund. Manufacturers not interested stating fault with store. Stress, hassle and a fancy jar of make up I can't use, unless I be whisked away to Willy Wonkas chocolate factory to unionise the Oompa Loompas.

So smooth. Easy application. I'm not an expert in makeup, but this is good. I apply with a sponge (blender) or fingertips and the finish is perfect either way. Covers pigmentation and blemishes. Light feeling. Doesn't looked caked on. I use the primer first and that makes a huge difference to the feel. Went to the beach and it was still on when I came home!

Such a nice colour match for my pale skin, love that there's a warm and cool option for each shade. Goes on smoothly, and if using the right amount (one light pump) it's the closest I can get to makeup being "invisible". It provides light but buildable coverage, and doesn't settle in my 40+ year old creases, unlike others I've tried. Goes on well with both fingers or a blender. Wish I'd found it sooner, it was pure luck that I tried it as I received a free sample.

Great product and service as you would expect from JL. However the product is considerably smaller than the previous bottle and I mean by a significant amount, but same price. I think they thought we might not notice because of the bottle referb. Still, this is a great foundation. Never leaves the skin crepey or dry and glides on with good coverage without looking overdone. Nice dewy glow and blends well.
I really tried to make this foundation work, it's super drying throughout the day and i applied so much hydrating products to my face AND IM AN OILY SKIN TYPE! colour ranges is average as well especially with tones. It was super cakey for light medium coverage, the more moisture on your face the better. I ended up mixing it with moisturiser and it looked better but for all the hassle it's not worth the price when i have Urban Decay's stay naked that look flawless all day without caking or transferring.

Fresh and dewy finish with plenty of coverage without being a full on beast mode mask. It does oxidise however and if you layer it, it can become slippery on the skin. I really love YSL Touche Éclat foundation and have used it for many years. It gives excellent coverage with a flawless finish, even though I am quite sparing with it - using just one pump or less. I have sensitive, breakout prone skin so I have to be careful which products I use, but I have never experienced any issues with this foundation. The colour range is good too, and B40 is a good match for my skin tone.Highly recommended
I really wanted to love this foundation but unfortunately can't manage to make it work for me. My skin is relatively dry and despite proper skin prep, this tends to flake and highlight any slightly dry patches.Additionally, the shade was too orange for my skin so have found that I need to mix it with a cooler foundation in order to wear it out and about.However, the coverage is really excellent and the scent is lovely- it feels a real treat putting this on in the morning.
This foundation is lightweight and contains the necessary SPF which does not clog up my pores. This is a stable product in my makeup routine. I would highly recommend if you have Oily skin or T-Zone as it sits lightly and I have never experienced any breakouts. Colour match is good for my Porcelain skin, and in the summer I buy a slightly darker tone (b20-b30). The bottle is a glass with a pump which gives you easy application if your using a brush or sponge. I prefer a sponge with this particular product. The shades don't seem to correlate with the other foundation shades from the brand e.g. I am a mixture of B05 and B10, but there doesn't seem to be a B05 so I can't find quite the right shade mix for me.The finish is medium and the kind that looks good if your skin is already pretty good. It is satin with a slight luminosity but never truly 'sets' on the skin. It feels like it sits on top and transfers very easily. I find I need to set it with powder but I've tried a few and it has caked every time on the chin and around the nose. It looks nice everywhere else.
