An OK source of Vitamin D with Extra Benefits

Vitamin D is an important hormone manufactured by the body with exposure to sunlight. Many Americans don't get enough sunlight exposure and are deficient, so even though I spend a lot of time outside I still take a D supplement. This product doesn't have a typically high dosage of vitamin D, but it does have more than the recommended daily value, so it might be a good product for people who do spend time out in the sun but want to be sure they get enough D.The fish oil is an added heart-healthy benefit. The capsules don't leave a fishy taste nor do they appear to produce the fishy burps that some such supplements cause. I also like that they are made in the USA.

Better than the brands I have been buy - and it is Kosher!

We have been using fish oil for a long time. I always buy whatever brand I find in the store. Never thought about looking at the labels or comparing them. But these Omega 3 capsules are better than anything I have bought in the past. First and foremost, the capsules are kosher, which I haven’t found before and is important. In comparing the labels, I also see that this brand has 50 mcg of Vitamin D3, and the numbers of EPA and DHA in mg are higher than the brand I have been buying. And it has no fishy after taste. I am so glad I found this.

Excellent and Fish Oil Supplement - Highly Recommeded

I have been taking fish oil for over a decade now. I have tried several different brands and also taken weeks off of my fish oil regiment to verify how fish oil impacts my body. There are studies that show fish oil doesn't really help your body but my personal experience is completely different. Taking fish oil helps to lubricate my joints and helps reduce pain and inflammation in my body. It works for me.I decided to try this brand based on the the reviews and the relative value of such a large bottle with high potency. I have had excellent results with these. Highly recommended.

Fish Oil, Fish Oil, Roly-Poly Fish Oil

I like taking these. I regularly take Fish Oil supplements, and I had a seamless transition to this brand.Positives:-Omega 3 essential fatty acids.-Vitamin D-Burpless (very nice)-Safety seals were intact-No adverse tastes, smells, or side effects-Easy to swallow-Made in the USANegatives:-The only possible negative...two times I put the soft gel in my mouth and took a few seconds to get my water. Possibly the soft gel started to dissolve a little, and the oil just started to leak out of the soft gel. I simply swallowed it all. No big deal. I like these soft gels better than traditional soft gel casings. In the future, I'll just make sure I have my water handy before taking.-At the time of my writing, the manufacturer hadn't disclosed if there was third party testing ... MoreI like taking these. Fish oil from Tuna
8 May 2024

These fish oil caplets are derived from tuna. My regular brand of fish oil gel caps is a combination of anchovy, mackerel, sardine, and tuna, but it is certified to be 100% free of contaminants and mercury.I wish these gelcaps had that same certification, because tuna can be high in mercury and that is the only source for the fish oil in these caps. If there is such certification, they should provide a link to it either in the advertisement, or on the bottle. It does say that they are manufactured in the USA, kosher, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy free and soy free.Upon first opening, the bottle does have a slight fishy odor, they have included a lemon scented non-edible disc heart in the bottle to help camouflage this. The pills are very easy to incorporate in a routine, as you only need to take two pills a day, which is a lot less than other fish oil supplements. There is a 90 day supply, which is okay for the price point. Well worth it, but as always, discuss it with your doctor or healthcare provider before ordering.

Omega-3 is a daily staple for me
5 February 2024

I'm nearing 70 and with excellent health and mobility. I rotate through a LOT of supplements, but Fish Oil (delivering Omega-3) is the only one that I faithfully take each day. I've taken many brands . . . this Zahler product will work just fine. A daily 2 softgel dose delivers 1100 mg total Omega 3's (from 2000 mg fish oil) and a bonus 50 mcg Vitamin D3. Derived from tuna fish and kosher (and important factor for me). Made in USA. Bears GMP seal. Non-GMO. And . . . no fish burps with this one.

Quality Formulation

I have been taking Krill Oil as my Omega-3 source for a number of years because Fish Oil always used to give me awful "fish burps" and aftertaste. Many people have told me that Fish Oil has "come a long way" and may provide some additional benefits I am not receiving from Krill Oil. I decided to try this premium formulation which drives its Omega-3 from Tuna. I was skeptical knowing that Tuna can smell and taste "fishy." To my surprise, these softgels do NOT give me burps or that awful aftertaste. Please be aware that these softgels are large (much larger than my Krill Oil softgels). Fortunately, I don't have any issues swallowing larger supplements. The biggest downside for me is that the recommended dosage is two (2) softgels per day. Since I take a multitude of supplements, I generally prefer one-a-day formulations. I do appreciate that this supplement provides Vitamin D-3 since, like many, I am chronically deficient.

It has a "DO NOT EAT" warning on one side and a URL on the other. I have no idea what it is for, perhaps a desiccant or odor eliminator? I don't know. I've never seen this before.

The perfect dual purpose supplement: Essential Omega-3’s AND Vitamin D3
22 February 2024

This is the perfect supplement for people who do not get adequate Omega 3 fatty acids via their regular diet. It contains two beneficial ingredients: The main ingredient is 1100 mg total omega-3 fatty acids per one 2-softgel serving (which include 600 EPA and 400 DHA), right near the mid-range of health organizations’ recommended daily intake of omega-3’s (included in the 2000 mg total fish oil per serving). An added bonus: 250% RDV of Vitamin D3 which has several benefits including helping the body absorb calcium. D3 is an essential vitamin supplement especially in the winter months where sun exposure to the skin is minimal at best. An excellent product at a good value.
