It's certainly the most pricey wet food I've bought for my cats and the first time I tried feeding them goat. One of the cats eats it, the other doesn't want to but impulsively starts paw digging at her food mat like she wants to bury the meal. I have a feeling this will be a hit or miss with the cats, despite the high quality ingredients. If your cat doesn't like it - shame. If (s)he does, congrats, they're on a diet with a Kiwi pet food company that seems to have excellent environmental values. Strangely, the food smells like beer to me when I open the can. Not sure what's up with that lol

I think its awesome that Zealandia provide such a large choice in flavours. My cat loves the lamb and duck. She eats this flavour, but not with as much enthusiasm.

Ingredients are decent enough but my cat hates all the flavours I bought (Wallaby, goat, chicken) - even the chicken he doesn't eat much of even though he LOVES chicken. It's much more dense than the typical pate and for some reason each of the flavours still has "Lamb Liver, Lamb Lung, Lamb Green Tripe, Lamb Heart, Lamb Kidney, New Zealand Green Mussel" so really makes me question whether the taste is much different between flavours. I suspect the green tripe is also a problem, not just the texture, because lots of cats can't stomach it. It was an expensive gamble that didn't work out :( Now trying to figure out what to do with all the cans I bought.

My cats are absolutely all over this, even the fussiest of eaters is licking the bowl clean. Plus one of my cats has food allergies and she is doing extremely well with this food. Added bonus: it comes in larger cans and is good for the environment.
They kept meowing for the food once i opened the can, and lick every single bit in their bowl. Definitely will come back for more
our cats weren't too sure about eating possum, but after a couple of cans, this is a great meaty go to if I haven't thawed their kangaroo. You get your moneys worth, the can is packed with meat not water and gravy or jelly. Dollar for dollar it is comparable to Ziwi peak. Now to try the other meaty flavours.
This pate was a hit with my four cats! They loved it. It was the first flavour I've bought with this brand and I will definitely buy again and try the others. My cats have turned their noses up at some of the Ziwi and Feline Natural flavours so i'm glad to see some competition.
I had been thinking about purchasing Zealandia for a while as there is a nice variety of flavours. My cats absolutely loved the goat pate, so much so that I just put in another order. Has definitely been their favourite flavour so far and it, along with some others have now found their way into the flavour rotation.
One cat took to it immediately. The other is extremely fussy and I am introducing slowly crumb by crumb hidden in each meal. I have taken away the dry food so she is forced to eat her favorite food with a crumb of Zealandia in it. Although Zealandia looks expensive the cans are more than double the size of the Fancy Feast cans that I normally buy. Goat meat is very good food value and I trust the revues of Zealandia products. The food is very healthy with no unhealthy animal or fish parts or unnecessary chemicals added.
by far best flavour of zealandia - our cat is a picky eater. out of most grain free wet options on pet circle this possum is both best value and a clear favourite for our devon rex - and notice he's been watching the possums in the backyard with an more eager eye!! tried the other flavours and they're ok but been waiting weeks for the possum to come back in stock as little else compares
