Totally unsatisfactory product.
16 September 2024
I bought a sealed box of 25, M8x20 galvanised nuts and bolts. The box contained only 24 bolts and 22 nuts. I was only able to hand attach the nuts onto 3 bolts. For 7 of the bolts I needed to use a die to re-thread the bolts. The remaining bolts could only receive the nut when physically restrained in a vise and a spanner used to attach the bolt using a fair degree of force. It is apparent the hot-dipping process "gummed up" the threads of the bolts and nuts. Essentially an usable product. I did not return the product as it would have necessitated a 3 hour drive from home.... Show more

Good product to use when you want to prevent rusting on the job at hand, the galvanising is a little coarse, run the nuts down the thred first, they then are easy too use.... Show more
