1st box purchased 2-3yrs ago. Re-purchased yesterday and quite a few were NOT straight (ie bent) - so when screwing them in, they wobble and useless! So... buyer's beware!

Used on a hardwood palling fence due to lack of access to a nail gun. Have used a similar galvanised screw before and had less breakage with Tufcote and much prefer square drive

Easy to read labelling makes screw selection fast. Overall great product for all treated pine applications and good to have supplied drive tips.
I've received multiple emails from Bunnings inviting me to review this nifty little treated pine screw and so I thought I should probably pull the proverbial screw driver out and do so. To clarify, this treated pine screw isn't itself made of treatment pine but rather it's scientifically designed to be used with treated pine. As in, it's guaranteed to treat your pine in the way it should be treated. To use just any old screw with your pine would be to invite a rust infection and lose wood. Nobody wants that. I've used a good many of these pine treated screws to screw all around my backyard. I've even screwed nextdoor. The neighbour paid for those screws and was very happy with the results. So what's the secret? Well it's just that, a secret. So what's the secret? Well it's just that, a secret. Although I did hear there is a secretive temple high in the Glasshouse Mountains where a mysterious sect of monks following the ancient teachings of Zenith and the art of screwing. Here, high in the mountains they forge treated pine screws from sacred minerals toiled from Mother Earth's volcanic plugs from the land down under. Also, these are a good screw suitable for treated pine fences etc. They come in different lengths and even include one or two of those little square headed things for driving the screws home. Would recommend. Also, don't drive your screws home too hard as you can snap the heads clean of.
Spend the extra $ on the Buildex brand instead as there are too many bent screws from Zenith. Not obvious at first glance but too much wobble over the 100mm length for the driver to stay engaged.
