The crackle is produced by a special technique to cause cracking on the surface by utilizing the shrinkage during firing. PLEASE NOTE: The KIKKO crackle colour teacups are more delicate than solid glaze teacups. Avoid using them in the dishwasher and microwave oven. Specialty glaze may change colour, reacting to acid or alkaline. Avoid contact with acid or alkaline detergent, fruit juice, vinegar, etc.
