Its pretty much what you'd expect for the price. It flies and does what it advertised, but being a cheap drone any breeze will knock it around and the short battery life is really ordinary. I recommend buying multiple batteries & chargers to reduce wait time between goes. All in all its a cheap starter drone to get you familiar with flying before stepping up to a more expensive model. Definitely worth buying at half price.

I bought this for my son and he loved it for 3 trys until it ran out of battery untill it runs out in 5 mins. It then was just moving randomly and i couldn't control it went into the nebours house and we couldn't find it. NO tracking no homing unless its on.

My plan was to come here and give a 5 star review after my son purchased this yesterday and seemed so happy with it after the initial troubles he had with the pairing of the video were resolved. However, today he went to fly it and it is not windy, yet it is unstable enough that it blew in to a tree with the slightest movement of air, even after he had pressed the emergency landing button as soon as he started to feel any wind, the drone simply didn’t respond. He was also flying it in the front of the property where there is only 2 tall palm trees, to avoid anything like this happening. This is bad even for a cheap drone. Controls are unresponsive and drone just flew away every time we tried. Don't waste your money, your kid will only be disappointed
I got this knowing it is a beginner Drone. I didn't expect much. It's pretty easy to use. The picture quality is just ok. You have to be pretty close to a person to make out who they are. The Drone is pretty lightweight though so if there is any wind, don't bother.

When attempting video or photos it would respond with "unconnected" although still showing wifi connectivity.Went into JB HiFi for help, they knew less than I did. One salesman said that they are cheap and don't work well... he was right. His suggestion was not to buy it... well too late for that.... spend a lot more and go for a DJI drone instead. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas.Went through the instructions to calibrate it. Started it and took off without me being in control and is long gone. Now I'm left out of pocket with an upset child because the controls didn't work as they were meant to.
The drone is light, way too light. A slight breeze (barely perceptible) will prevent hovering. A mild breeze will take your drone away much faster than it can fly opposing it. Battery life is over-exaggerated. It's closer to five minutes on the second use. Camera is pretty poor and doesn't sync well to the phone so you cannot use the camera to navigate by. If you can fly it in a large indoor space, it's probably more fun but the hint of a breeze makes it harder to control. Range is decent enough including the wifi. Charge time is awfully long for the shabby battery life, recommend buying spare batteries. Easy enough to control however don't trust the booklet. Controller feels really cheap and nasty but it does work. I expect a lot more for the price at least as far as ability to fly with some sort of weather like a hovering mode to auto stabilise.
Contrary to what others are saying in the reviews, I personally think this is a great drone for beginners. The controls are pretty self explanatory and once you get the hang of it, its quite fun. The only problem is how easily the drone can drift away in the wind. Apart from that, great starter drone for beginners.
My son has been using this to film himself skating. He has really enjoyed the results and says the learning curve isn't too bad. The batteries, as with most drones this size, are a little short lived. It is on par with my more expensive drone's batteries.
