The pad is what you would expect, but the way it is packed for shipping takes some time to overcome. It took at least a week for the pad to resume its shape after I removed it from the box
I rec'd the topper today, its so soft and fits the bed perfectly!!
This is an excellent mattress topper. We were able to easily cut it to size, due to using it as a couch cushion. It stays in place under the cover and reshapes itself every time. When you first open it, it's very lumpy. Spread it out and shake it and let it expand to full size for a few hours.
About $15.00 to much
When you first buy this, it is a fairly medium firm comfortable mattress topper. It doesn't smell as bad as memory foam normally does, however, there are two major flaws. The first is that there's a 50/50 chsnce it will remain scrunched and never expand as it should. Second, it wears out quickly even with limited use. It is a decent price point but it doesn't stay firm enough for adequate prolinged support.
