Overall this is a good value if you like using mattress pads.

We used this cooling convoluted copper swirl memory foam mattress topper in the Twin size for our 7 year old daughter's bed. As far as I can tell, she loves it. It makes her bed so much softer and cozier. I would say the only downsize is that the sheets cannot often go over the pad and the mattress completely, especially with someone who tosses and turns a lot, so often the sheets are off one corner. My daughter just runs hot like me and often I would check on her in the middle of the night and she'd be sweating. I sunk into topper and caused pain on ribcage either side and pain on lower back. Might be suitable for small child above toddler size. The material pushes up against ribcage because it doesn't support the hip like it should. The rearend is not supported well so the material pushes up against the lumbar region. Laying on stomach was also uncomfortable. Laying on back caused the material to push in around stomach and ribcage which caused breathing difficulties.
