I bought a the Wayfair Sleep 8" Medium Memory Foam Mattress in Twin XL last year, and loved that mattress. I sleep like a rock every time, it never caved in, the size was great -- I had a really good experience with that mattress. So this year, moving into a new apartment and figuring it was time to upgrade to a full size mattress, I wanted to buy pretty much the exact same thing, which I thought I was getting when I ordered the Wayfair Sleep 8" Medium Memory Foam Mattress in Full. I open that mattress and it didn't even inflate properly. It was concaved in several areas and didn't get close to reaching the full 8 inches. I ordered a this mattress as a new one after talking to some customer services reps who assured me that the chances of me getting another faulty ... Well, this mattress inflated flat, so that was good, but it only reached a little less than 6 inches after letting it sit out without anything on it for approximately 2-3 weeks. Again, another disappointment. I have ordered another mattress, and if this one doesn't work, I will never be ordering another mattress from Wayfair again (and maybe I won't even if it does work, considering I have been out of a mattress for nearly a month).

I ordered this mattress because I have back and shoulder pain due to a crooked spine. It’s an extremely firm mattress. At first I thought maybe I just have to get used to it, but after two years it’s as hard as a rock and not comfortable to sleep on at all. I will say i used to have a lot of lower back pain and that has been completely eliminated with this mattress, which is why I gave it two stars. Now my problem is my shoulders and neck. This mattress has made that pain a lot worse. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this mattress and can’t wait to get a new one.

After 23 years of service and horrible sleeping locations, I wake up with zero aches. Bed has held up great in the last two weeks. No indentations. When I have someone next to me in bed we don't sink and roll into each other. The firmness is great!!! For back and stomach sleepers. I do sometime end up on my side and I still feel awesome in the mornings. There was some getting used to that tho. This mattress was totally worth it and well within budget. It took maybe three full hours or so to decompress, didn't notice any weird smells like I've read. I have it on a $100 platform bed i bought online like ... I’m in my 60’s and always bought high quality brand name coil spring mattresses but always tossed and turned throughout the night and woke up with a back ache. I recently had the opportunity to sleep on a Zinus at a friend’s house and slept like a baby and I only rolled over once. I woke up feeling refreshed and no sore back. So when I returned home I ordered the 12 inch green tea because I wanted the thickest foam I could get. I slept on it last night for the first time and again I hardly changed positions, slept like a baby and woke up feeling like my batteries were fully charged and no aches or pains. My only regret is that I didn’t find out about Zinus sooner.
The mattress is quite alright! Positives: It arrived quickly, the directions for setting it up were clear, and sleeping on one's side is super comfortable. (I used to get bad back pain from sleeping on my side if I didn't use like four pillows between my legs; with this mattress, I do not need any body pillow(s) at all and I wake up pain free!) Also it smells very neutral and not gross (but also not like tea.)Negatives: It is not nor will it ever be a 10" mattress. We let it expand for three times the stated time and it only grew to 9". (This is not the end of the world, but it is indeed false advertising.) This bed is great! And thick, expanded in about 5 hours all the way! And idk why anyone would say it had a smell, it had no smell at all. It’s firm when you jump on it, but then you sink into it and it forms to your body. It feels firm to the touch, but it’s actually very soft. The memory foam is amazing, im a bigger girl, and i barely struggle to move around in it. My cat even molds into it when she lays haha she loves it. I used to sleep on boxsprings, floors, and hard mattresses/pillow tops/spring anything you can think of, so this bed is really nice 😊 and I wake up feeling refreshed. Anyways don’t let bad reviews fool you, I almost did. I’m glad I didn’t! And it came super early along with the frame I ordered! Hehehe. Very impressed.
This was my first time buying a brand new mattress as well as moving into a new apartment. I was trying to save money by not dropping too much money on mattress, especially if it was my first time. I am so happy I decided to go with this one. I ordered this in 12" Queen Size. Once it arrived, I let it decompress for a total of 48 hours before using it. It hugs your body in the best way possible. Me and my boyfriend were having back problems before this bed, and now, we are not tossing and turning anymore. I am a back sleeper and he is a side sleeper and both of us sleep just fine! I definitely wake up feeling well rested. It is not too soft, and not too firm. It's very supportive.
This mattress was exactly what I was looking for. However, I definitely wish more instructions/details were included in the instructions about how to get it to completely rise. It stated that you simply wait 48 hours and it will reach 8 inches, but that wasn't true. I waited 4 days and my mattress was still at 6 inches and stopped expanding. I researched the brand website and finally found that the trick to full height expansion is STEAM! I took my steamer to it and it started to grow! I won't lie, I spent a solid 30 minutes steaming the edges and corners because it was very misshapen. After steaming, it expanded fully and was a normal shape. I just wish the directions would have said that from the beginning!
I really am pleased with this mattress. It was less heavy than many styles to choose from, it is firm yet gives at all the pressure points. It puffed right up completely within minutes of cutting the wrapping. I did make sure it was on the bed right-side up before slitting the plastic. The plastic was easy to pull out from under. This 12" queen mattress is on a platform bed that has 12" clearance under the slats which puts the total height at a perfect level. The price was right and even less than the same one on Amazon.
I have purchased this product two years back. it was so good and comfortable at that time. but after one year I started feeling its become like well. my partner and I are sinking into. this caused so much back pain for both of us. I would recommend not buy and kill your back. I have reached them for warranty. they are asking to show compression without any weight on it. its a memory foam we cannot prove it without weight on it. we are waking up back sore everyday. I would say rather sleep on floor than buying this mattress.
