Edit I have now used this for a few years and it has held up. It was worth the purchase and makes a good bed for certain decor. Remember, it is very low to the ground, which is what I wanted. It is also easy to disassemble and move.Original The frame is ok. I have only had it for a day, but it seems sturdy and of decent quality. However it seems a bit smaller than a full sized. My mattress hangs off of it. Only by about an inch, but enough that it makes it look less chic. I really liked it before putting the mattress on it.I am not offended by it and I will not return it. I am just not as into it as I had hoped. If it werent small, it would be perfect.

Was difficult for my husband to build because the parts were mislabeled, took about two hours. The biggest issue is the fact that the slats are MORE than 3 inches apart. It says in the description that the slats are exactly 3 inches apart but this is not true, it is a lie. This is a significant issue and could ruin your mattress because some mattresses cannot have a base that are more than 3 inches apart. Only purchase if you have a matress that can have slats further than 3 inches apart. Also please change the description of this frame accordingly for people who do not read reviews because your description is false advertising.

This Bed Frame is Freaking Fantastic [heart]. It has exceeded all my expectations.The instructions to install were so easy, literally put together in 5 mins. The Frame has thick sturdy supports and has thick wooden slates that go the full width of the frame (it was hard to see in photos online) I am 120 kg and was very keen to find a sturdy bed frame plus a heavy thick mattress on top might be around 50kg (it's very heavy matress). This frame is very sturdy but also light enough for those who like to rearrange their furniture every 6 months like myself. It won't buckle or bow. We both love the simplicity of this frame. We're using in a guest room, just need something to hold our extra thick mattress. This allows it to be off the floor but still at a good height for getting in and out of it. We have plenty of closet space and want to keep the furnishings minimalist. So we didn't need all the fancy stuff. And the price was as reasonable as off the shelf ugly cheap metal frames that some inadvisably use. It did not come with instructions but Wayfair's customer service quickly provided them via email when informed of the problem. My husband took one look at the photo and said, "Oh that's simple enough."

I bought this bed during Black Friday and although I was happy in the beginning, I’m not so content with the bed. I’m a heavy person so my experience may be different from others. Pros: The assembly was fairly simple and easy to put together. It doesn’t weight that much to move the frame around. The slates have Velcro, which makes it stay in place really well. You are able to fit small items underneath the bed frame. The mattress doesn’t move that much due to the adhesive the slates have. Cons: At the beginning, it did not squeak that much but after a while the squeaking was awful. Getting in bed and out of bed, the frame would squeak with any possible moving. The bed frame would rock slightly back and forth which sucks. Pleased overall, would buy again

The bed frame seems reasonably well-made for the price. Assembly instructions are clear. Nice that it comes with a ratchet in addition to a hex key. There were two pieces (same place for opposite sides of the frame, step 4) where the holes didn't line up properly and I had to flex the bottom rail to get the bolts in. Not very positive threading in any of the bolt holes, sometimes difficult to get the bolts started, and you wouldn't want to over-tighten. But that's to be expected I guess. The wood slats are on Velcro strips, which is handy.The 10-inch height works well with my 14-inch mattress. So far my mattress is staying in place, and the frame is not squeaky. I'm planning to purchase another, probably a few inches taller for the 9-inch mattress for my guest bed.

Although the design remains the same, the materials do not. The metal is now very thin and lightweight; when I disassembled it for return, the metal around the pre-drilled screw holes was dented just from assembly. The wooden slats are also much thinner and lighter compared to the older version, not likely to hold much weight. Aside from this, the bed is identical, with the same numbered pieces and screws. I returned it due to concerns about its durability, and it sliding on hard floors due to its light weight compared to the mattress. I looked at numerous bed bases before settling on this one. I love the amount of storage that can be hidden away under the bed. I love the height that my bed is once I put my mattress on top. The item was mostly easy to get together. It took me about an hour and a half by myself with my arthritic hands to put this together. I had trouble with the last three screws which is when I broke out the drill to add a little force and everything was finished quickly. Make sure you leave space before you start the first slat across the top and make sure you fully extend the Velcro sections. On top of the wood is a lovely little strip that you peel which holds your mattress to keep it from sliding. This would be a great idea, but if you’re using the base for storage, you’re more than likely going to want to add a bedskirt so that you can’t see all the stuff that’s under there. I added a bedskirt. The sticky stuff holds the bedskirt in place but not the bed. Overall, very satisfied and would purchase again.

Worst design ever with bottom rail along floor.

The bottom rail along the floor that goes along the circumference of the bed is prime for stubbing toes and hurting feet. It's the worst! Especially if you don't have much room between the wall and the frame and you have to walk on the bottom rail to get around the bed. It's aweful. Can't understand why they didn't eliminate that bottom rail. The bed is no more or no less secure without it. We had to remove those rails for our sanity. We purchased 2 of these to make a Queen short bed frame because you cannot buy a frame for a queen short. 2 of these side by side is perfect for the mattress, 60 X 75 but believe me, if you're an adult, you're going to have to modify this.
