Bought this bed 4months ago for my giant 12 yr old (seriously hes already 5’6). Anywho, hes slept on this hed with dogs, with 1000 stuffed animals and ive taken a few naps there. Paired witha zinus 8’ memory foam mattress. I gove this 100%. He moves around a lot!It is sturdy, it doesnt squeak, is wuite comfortable. The box it came in was about my height 5’ and was able to get it up the stairs by myself. Putting it together was fairly easy and didnt take longg at all. For the price this is a realt nice buy. This bedframe is just amazing. The picture doesn't do it justice! It is extremely easy to put together. Assembled this by myself in half an hour (most of the time I was pushing my curious kitties away or I'd have had it built in no time). Make sure you keep the allen key so you can un-assemble it if need be! The box is 7ft long so I suggest to unbox the metal as close as you can to the bedroom if you cannot get it in. The bars inside are zip tied together so they don't bruise then each bunch is in a plastic sleeve. Oh! It also comes with a ratchet! So for those of you like me with a hard time holding onto an allen key this makes it SO much easier! Out of the box this looked like it was going to be a great bed. However, the metal ends of the top piece of the headboard do not face straight down - they are slightly bowed in, which makes it impossible to finish assembly. you can either have the top of the headboard missing, or leave out the round metal rod below the wood panel (piece B). I opted for the latter and emailed Zinus support to ask how they can fix it - either by sending a new top of the headboard or a new round rod for below the wood. They said they don't have any parts and to get a refund from Walmart.Well, the box is 8 feet long and extremely heavy, and the bed is ALREADY 90% ASSEMBLED.This is absolutely horrible service, don't waste your time or frustration with Zinus. I was beyond satisfied with this bed frame! Its sturdy, easy to assemble with clear directions, and looks great- especially for the price! I couldnt recommend this frame more. I bought two for my children and assembled them by myself in less that two hours for both. I love that the slats (super easily) go into mounts that are welded right to the frame. That's such a good idea rather than having to screw each one in. It comes with all the materials you need to assemble it and was packed in a way that theres no way there would've been scratching or denting in transit. Awesome, awesome purchase!!
Was very surprised how cool this bed actually is! I bought it for my 14yr old son cause he said it looked cool...and to much of my surprise...it actually is lol! I was super confused by the directions at first....but once common sense took over....it was super easy to put together. 1 goes with 1....and so on and so forth lol! Very sturdy. Overall, surprisingly shocked at the results. Myself and my son gives it a 5star. Oh, and came a week early! No complaints here
Two parts of the bed arrived damaged. One piece, the top of the headboard, was poorly packaged and had dents and scratches. The other piece, the wooden part of the headboard, had misaligned holes that did not allow me to screw that piece into the rest of the bed frame. When Zinus refused to send replacement parts, Walmart sent me a replacement bed.Unfortunately, the replacement bed arrived with the exact same damage as the first one. 5 stars for Walmart's resolution of the problems, 1 star for Zinus's manufacturing and packaging.
I really love this bed. Its cute, affordable and sturdy. It doesnt make any sounds when you shift in the bed. For those who purchase, the only issue I had putting it together was getting the wood pieces at the head and foot of the beds to align perfectly with the metal holes. The way I resolved it was to put both top and bottom screw in just a little bit and go back and forth between the two tightening them. If you do one at a time it makes the other hole impossible to line up. Other than that it was an easy set up, maybe an hour by myself stopping to help my kids here and there. If your torn between two beds, get this one.
Really enjoy this frame. I love the way it looks. Pretty easy to put together. It took me about an 1 hr 15 minutes by myself. Would’ve been faster if one screw didnt give me so much trouble. Would’ve given it five stars but I needed replacement parts because the way it was packaged. It caused two pieces to rub together and created dents and scratches. They sent me out another one free of charge to exchange the pieces but the second one was even worse. it’s the headboard that you see all the time that had the damage. After putting it together I decided to keep it, because I didn’t want to take it apart again. The company needs to re-examine how they package the bedframe.
I ordered two twin size for my sons room and i love them. I put them together myself, took me about an hour to put the two together. It came with a tool to put them together and it super easy. When my husband came home he was shocked that i put them together myself ans how sturdy they are. I love the look of them and cant wait to get their room finised. Would and more than likely will buy this brand again! Also arrived sooner than expected!! I also purchased the mattress from the same company as well. I had no idea what tickness to get, i ordered the 8inch.
I wanted to like this because the design and style is really nice. However I ran into issues assembling this bed. The pieces wouldn’t fit together properly. I reached out to the manufacturer for help with no luck. So I spent money on junk
