When I buy family packs Im Depend on my ziplocks bags. There really easy to open and lock. The bag is strong, and if you take all the air out last a long time for freezer burns. Quick tip did you know if you use a napkins on the bottom of any Frust or vegetables it will last longer. #ziplock #Influenster #Barber #WeedGuru #Gamer #influenster #barber #pokemon #glosvibe #producttester 🌏💈✈️🎗🎮🎶❤#stay.faded #stay.faded.brand.tm #stay.faded.brand #gloscloset #stayfaded

Opened a new box of 200 recently and went through about 20 bags before I got to the ones that would stay zipped. At first I was irritated, thinking the whole box would be the same. Spot checking the remaining bags, so far I have not found any more that are bad. The zip seal area on the bad ones looked totally different like the machine was not adjusted correctly or something like that. I have used this brand in general for many years with no other problems. I hope this is just a passing issue.

"New Grip 'n Seal" is what is on my newest box of Ziploc sandwich bags. These are absolute garbage! The seal got a whole lot smaller and takes more effort to close. Further, it feels much cheaper and if you even slightly manipulate the bag once sealed, it is sure to unseal. These are not good and we are now on our second box, hoping the first was a bad batch. Unfortunately, the second box is the same, so this is the new norm. My wife rarely swears, but she had some choice words for these sandwich bags!

I rarely use these for sandwiches and generally prefer the “freezer” thickness for many applications. But I keep these “sandwich” bags around for their affordability in organizing and protecting screws, parts, etc. Also find them useful for food applications where it’s challenging to wash out the bag after use, in other words I can use this type of bag to keep oily food and throw it out afterward. Ziploc has excellent quality control and their seams hold up very well.
I just did an online search to see if others are having the same issues I am. I see on your website that many if not all are having issues with closing the zipper. You have made these bags so thin and reduced the amount of material used to make the zipper there's hardly any zipper at all. That's great that it saves you money but what does it do for us? Upsets us and you lose customers. Therefore, I don't see what saving money does for you when the customers won't buy your product! And another thing I don't understand is why you want people to contact you? What good is giving them a coupon for a free box of the same Ziploc bags going to do? It sounds to me like if you want to do something positive sink a little bit more money into your product and make one that will ... For someone who has arthritic hands it is horrible to try and zip the bags. Even for those who do not this seems to be an issue. I will indeed no longer buy these bags unless I hear you have returned to a better product that actually works for the consumer.
Perfect for partially used tomato’s, onions, peppers in refrigerator. Perfect for blueberries and almonds on the go. Very useful for my whole food plant based lifestyle. Also handy for not losing screws and other small parts .
We've been buying Ziploc bags for the last 35 years. We've come to rely on these bags for everything from Freezer meals to snacks for the grandkids. The latest changes to the Ziploc bags is disappointing. The tabs do make it easier to open the bags, that assumes that you're able to get the bags sealed in the first place. We've had bags split on the sides, at the top and it's getting more and more difficult to find the sweet spot to get the bag to seal. Once I've found the sweet spot and actually get the edge to seal when I run my fingers across the rest won't seal. At first I thought it was just me having these problems but looking at the other reviews, I'm not the only one experiencing the same problems. While your replies are standard, "Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your trouble, let us make it up to you," they don't address the issue with the design flaws or why these new styles don't work. The seals on the Freezer Quart and Gallon bags have two rows to seal, and they are so much easier to close. Are there any plans to return to the previous quality of bags for the snack, sandwich and quart storage size bags? If the company does, then there may be some hope of keeping loyal customers, if not, then I suspect that you'll have more people jumping ship and using other brands.
These bags are so horrible I hope your company goes out of business... they don't stay closed and there is no reason to even use a bag.. should just throw carrots into lunch box and chase them around on the bottom.. as for anything else same thing. Everything mixes together in your stomach once you eat it. So must be what they are thinking when they made these bags.. save your money and just throw all your food in your lunch box let it all mix together and just wash your lunch box every night cause we all need more things to do in the evening once we are off work...but hey they are saving money and making a cheaper product while big wigs in ziplocks company who never use the bags don't care because let's face it when you make big bucks your not packing anything. who ... I just opened a fresh box of Ziploc Sandwich bags, a longtime favorite in our house up to now. These sandwich bags are noticeably different. I still have some of the old sandwich bags and the difference is striking. The new locking "zipper" strip is so much thinner and it's harder to catch without multiple tries. And really, that's the most important part of a sandwich bag. The green closure area is a much thinner material, less formidable and not as easy to work with. But that locking strip... what a letdown. I'm looking for another brand. DIsappointing.
I recently bought a box of the Ziploc sandwich bags. The closure function appears to be different than before. The locking strips are thinner than before (see uploaded photo) and you can't really hear them "lock" when pressing them together. The two sides come apart as if they are not secured, -- no resistance at all when pulling on the two sides. I did put an item in the bag and then held it upside down, even shaking it some and the bag stayed locked. I still am not really sure about trusting a fuller bag to stay closed, though.
