There are quite a few reasons why I love this dog food. Firstly, its grain-free recipe is fantastic, especially if your dog is sensitive to grains. Secondly, the fact that it's air-dried means it retains more nutrients. The ingredients are ethically sourced, which makes me feel good about feeding it to my pups. It's suitable for all breeds and ages, so it's very versatile. Plus, the fact that there are no added hormones or antibiotics is a huge bonus. Highly recommend!

This is an incredible product because it's not just grain-free, but is also high in protein. The superfoods and limited ingredients make it ideal for food-sensitive dogs like mine. What impressed me more is how it supports digestion, promotes healthy skin and coat, and even helps with joint health. The sourcing is ethical and sustainable, which is a tremendous plus. The mouth-watering taste? My dog can't get enough of it. Great product!

I have a 8lbs dachshund who literally won’t eat any dog food canned or bagged or frozen! Most human food she puts her nose up too aswell even though she’s healthy. Bought this since it was the closest thing texture wise to the only treats she will eat and it was a win she loved it. But even for my little one it’s crazy expensive. 1 cup a day would be more that’s 200 a month of dog food. I’ll still be buying it as a topper or for every other day feeding. I would still recommend this to anyone your dog will eat it. I bought the lamb.

I have two sibling, year-old cats who are both allergic to chicken. One of them also has a difficult time with most fish. Do you know how hard it is to find cat food without any chicken or fish? But, here is Ziwi with some outstanding choices for my crew. They are crazy about Lamb and also Lamb/Mackerel both canned and dry. They like the dry more if I pulverize some of the nuggets before serving them. I do this easily with a tenderizing hammer. They are both doing really well on this brand. Their coats are thick and very soft (they are Turkish Angoras). Their vet originally put them on a prescription diet, which I tried for a couple of months, but it made their fur very coarse, and of course, the ingredients were horrible. So, thank you Ziwi, you came to the rescue! ... MoreI have two sibling, year-old cats who are both allergic to chicken. One of them also has a difficult time with most fish. My Aussie won’t eat a bowl of dog food no matter what I do. I tried everything including food withholding. Ziwi was recommended to me after trying most every type in the store. I take a big scoop and leave it in the bowl free feed. He is 4 years old and eats a big scoop daily. He has a good healthy belly, rarely has tummy problems and I give him biscuits for breakfast for his grains. It is a jerky texture and is perfect for a healthy free feeding pup food. It’s expensive for a big food gobbler but is an amazing topper for big pups.
This product has been exactly what I needed for my pup. I love the 'ready to serve' feature. It's really great that 96% of it consists of meat, organs, and bone - incredibly wholesome. The 10% superfood inclusions are an added health bonus. I appreciate the absence of added carbs and fillers. It's fantastic that it can be a complete meal or just a tasty topper. My dog's mobility and vitality have definitely improved. Highly recommended!
My two cats are both annoyingly picky eaters. One of them likes crunchy treats and was a kibble fiend and the other likes soft treats and soft food. My kibble lover is obsessed with this and I’m very glad because it’s a much much better option than kibble! It is kind of high in fat but I don’t really mind because it makes him absurdly soft and probably helps with hairballs too. He used to have really dry flaky skin but now he almost looks greasy, his skin is so hydrated. My soft food lover gets instinct freeze dried but my crunchy boy is a ziwi air dried fiend. And I love the lamb option, a pretty rare protein!
We've been using Ziwi Peak dog treats for our dog, Bear since he was a puppy. These treats are nothing short of amazing! Bear absolutely loves them, and they have been an essential part of his training routine. They are also incredibly convenient for us. The size of the treats is perfect for training sessions - small enough to not overfeed but substantial enough to keep Bear motivated. They fit effortlessly into our treat pouch, making them the ideal training treat.
I’ve spent hundred of dollars on Ziwi food for my 2 puppies. I have a yorkie and an Australian cobberdog. I bought Ziwi because of its quality and I like the fact that it is raw. However, my puppies has always had stomach problems when they are on Ziwi, including the good dog reward treats. Like REALLY BAD diarrhea….. the kind that requires you getting up in the middle of night multiple times because my puppie was having liquid diarrhea. Thought this would never end lol I thought of a million reasons that could be causing this and never thought it would be food from Ziwi. I finally switched both puppies to hills science diet and they’ve both been having perfectos. I thought the food is good for all stages, maybe it’s no good for puppies? Especially I have two very different breeds? Has this happened to anyone else?
I don’t want to be too harsh on this kibble since I love the brand and the ingredients, but I will say my very moderately picky cat didn’t like this item. My non picky cat wasn’t enthusiastic about eating it but still did.I think even smell wise the chicken one is much more enticing to me as well since when I opened the lamb bag even I could tell it’s VERY meaty. That aside, I also think their kibble is way too expensive for how much you get. I only use their bags for meal toppers and they don’t last long at all for how expensive it is. I get it’s quality ingredients but I wish more brands would try and be more inclusive.
