I bought this item for my dog because I am on the search for new/healthier food for him. I gave him a little sample the very minute I opened the my rainbow pets box and he loves it! Planning on implementing this as a staple in his diet.

Amazing quality

I have two small fussy dogs, and this is their favourite can food. If you aren't used to tripe it can be a little smelly but dogs love it. Ziwi Peak is really high quality, if you're looking for very natural pet food, this is the stuff.

Crack for Dogs

I don't know what's in this (actually it's only good stuff ), but my dog loves it. My Standard Poodle is a super picky eater and I've tried everything. He would now eat anything if I top it with this. It's wildly expensive and definitely too costly to feed a large dog exclusively, but as a topper, it's a miracle food.

Incredibly healthy

My dogs devour this food. I have 4 small breed dogs. One with severe allergy and stomach issues. He hardly eats.Bought this to supplement his food and he LOVES it. It is stinky. I feed them outside and it's not so bad.

My Dogs love Ziwi

Both of my standard poodles love the dry and wet ZiwiPeak food. One is a picky eater, the other has EPI. When Tinker was first diagnosed with EPI her weight was really down- about 1/2 of what it should have been. Even tho she was hungry she wouldn’t eat any type of food that had made her throw up. Ziwi canned food started her healing, the dry was the only food she would eat for years (now 11yo). I felt glad that it was a high quality food. My other dog isn’t a big eater and I use both the wet and dry to spark his appetite. I wish I could afford to feed both of them ZiwiPeak foods exclusively. I highly recommend it for quality food.

Smells like butt! But that just means my dog comes flying for it!

It's hard to overstate how bad tripe smells, it really does stink! Cover it and pop it in the refrigerator quickly after opening so you can breathe easier. But stink is exactly what dogs find enticing and my hound mix can barely wait for me to put the bowl down. He is not a picky eater at all, but he usually waits across the room for his meals to be prepared. Since starting on this wet food, he sits perched on the bed next to his food station and practically pounces on it as I'm setting the bowl down.I like that it has a looser texture to it and isn't a solid tube of paté. causing allergy

I have been using ziwipeak products for more than 3 years for both of my cats and dogs. I love this brand and it seems they offer quality food from New Zealand. I have tried almost all of their products with different flavors, but this one causing my dog bad allergy problem. I haven’t filter this out at first and kept feeding him this until today. I feed him average 1 can per week. He licks his front elbows almost bleeding. There is nothing else and the snow keeps him inside for 2 days. This is the only variabler that could cause allergy. And I try to remember every time he had itching problem, it seems that happens all after feeding him this. Maybe it’s just for my dog, but be careful of that, if your dog has same problem maybe it’s the reason, so be aware of that.
