This food is really excellent if you can afford it. Yes, it's not cheap, although its cheaper than you think if you check the kcal per gram - generally higher than most other foods so you need less. The ingredients are great and I feel confident in giving this to my kitty. It even smells fresh, which is not something I can say about other foods. My kitty doesn't always want to eat it but that's because she has much more of a craving for less healthy food (like Dine). I adopted her at 3 years old so I think that's just what she's used to.Overall, a really top quality product. I also think most cats would like this flavor as it smells fishy due to the mackerel but isn't all fish which is good.

My boy l-o-v-e-s Mackerel & Lamb! Every morning he has a hot (warm) Ziwi Peak brekkie, and he licks it up so fast. I put two heaped teaspoons into his bowl, add a few teaspoons of filtered water (bonus way of helping him to stay hydrated!) and mix to a thick paste (I warm it in a pan of water (double boiler method); I don't want to zap his food in the microwave). For wet food he loves to lick, but dry food he loves big bikkies so he can crunch (hard to buy; they're all so small, which he just hoovers, and it does nothing for his teeth!). Each morning I take it out, spoon out his morning brekkie, and straight back into the fridge (no leaving it sit on the bench for 30 minutes plus - the secret to keeping it fresh, so its temperature is not fluctuating up and down - the quickest way to send food bad!). I have no sense of smell, so can't comment about that. The empty cans are purr-fect for up-cycling, eg make citronella candles for outdoors for summer, potting small cactus plants (add a layer of crushed rock, for drainage, before adding soil), etc.

You do pay more but you really get what you pay for and food is filling and very dense ,probably as filling as three or more supermarket sachets but more nutritious.However once cats addicted to some of the supermarket rubbish can be difficult to get them to change. It is best to start very early when weaning. Any meals with any fish in them should not be fed daily, including this one. Do your research.

I have two cats that absolutely love this food and can’t get enough of it. This is my 3rd order with PetPost for this as the cats have been so much happier and active after eating this. Have tried the cats on the chicken flavour but they didn’t really like them, so I decided to stick to the lamb and mackerel. Do beware of the amount you’re feeding them as it is very high in protein, I find giving 1/5 can for a 5kg cat with some biscuits per day is perfect to maintain their weight.

I have a finicky older kitty. I finally found something she loves - a cat food that is hard to find. Pet Flow offered a generous discount for first time users which is great when you're purchasing yet another case of food that may or may not get eaten. My order was shipped immediately. Im very happy but more importantly kitty is eating more than ever!
My cat doesn't like this flavour, even when he's hungry. I've even tried mixing it with another flavour to try and disguise it, unfortunately, it's a waste of money for me. Also, brought it by mistake as it's the same packaging colour as the Mackerel.
Theres nothing on the market that is as good - only raw feeding! Even if you afford every second day feeding you are doing your loved one an enormous favour for their health. if transitioning its worth persisting- tou wouldnt give ur kids maccas every night sooooo
My dog and my cat both LOVED this food.Absolutely cleaned the bowl. My dog is pretty fussy (I buy the Ziwi Peak biscuits because they're top quality but she doesn't really like them and only eats them when she is really hungry). The price is eye-watering, but I'll definitely buy again given the quality (and remembering we are paying for NZ-level wages and working conditions, which is a good thing).
My Tonkinese loves this flavour. I needed to find a limited ingredient diet with no 'fillers'. This food nailed it. He wasn't keen on paté at first as he's always preferred casserole consistency. But with him missing teeth and the amazing flavour, he gobbles it right up. It gives me peace of mind knowing I'm giving him the best I can.
