Iāve been using Zman Slim Swimz for the past 5 years. They are, hands down, the single best multi species bait there is out there. If I could only keep one lure in my box, the Zman Slim Swimz would be the bait of choice. From the salt water down in Florida to the Great Lakes in Michigan, I have caught every species of fish available. Sea Trout, Sea Bass, Grouper, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Blue Gill, it doesnāt matter. This bait catches them all. The durability is also incredible! In the gulf, Iād have to change my gulp every 3rd or 4th fish. With Zman, Iāve literally caught over 30 fish on one Slim Swimz. They are just awesome! Do yourself a favor and load up on Zman!

Went fishing in wisconsin under a huge bridge yesterday. It had at least 80 concrete pilings. It was hot and sunny, but nice and cool under the bridge. I had 5 rods rigged with different reliable baits. I started off with 2 1/2" Bad Shad Slim Swimz with 1/10th finesse jig head. Had my limit of crappie in 2 1/2 hours. All between 11 to 12 1/2 inches. Fish this bait with a slow steady retrieve. The paddle tail thumps no matter how slow you reel it. I have been crappie fishing with artificials for more than 50 years. These baits are as good as it gets. By the way, I fished less than a third of those pilings and I never picked up any of my other rods. Great day. I looked at the reviews than went into the store and made a purchase for a pack of Zman Slim Swimz Midnight Oil i matched it with Jarvis Walker 6lb mono in green colourI travelled to my local brackish lake 35km's upstream of the ocean, First cast and i was on baby!!! I thought this cannot be so... Than i thought it was a mullet but as the fish cameup on the little sandy beach to my surprise it was a 50cm flatheadAnd i'm not a lures guy i prefer bait, the jighead i used was 1/20ozNow looking to expand and try other Zman soft plastics

The Incredible Mini Swimbat by Zman is a good walleye and crappie bait in the 21/2 inch size. The coloring is fantastic in Baby Bass. Since I am a fishing guide here in northern Wisconsin I would recommend Zman consider making the bait into a 2 3/4 inch size. Just a little more length and width would mimic the emerald shiner population that inhabits so many of our lakes.
Have used these to replace the plastic on the z man flashback mini chatter bait and as a stand alone swimbait ona jig head. On the chatter bait it works great and Iāve caught several fish including one of the better smallmouth Iāve gotten recently. As a swimbait it swims fine just havenāt had much success with it. My only minor gripes are, elaztech is great stuff love the toughness flexibility etc, but itās not compatible with the jig heads I have a Ton of! So hard to get them to set right on the bait holder.
These small swimbaits are awesome for all lakes, ponds, and rivers. I originally picked up a set for a few heavy pressure ponds and now I use these everywhere. I've set these up on drop shots, jigs, and small spinners; I've caught plenty of fish with each one. Definitely recommend trying these!

First of all; its Zman Elaztech; need I say anymore. I was looking for a small mini swimbait to fill a void in my tackle bag and the 2.5" size just seemed perfect. I tried several other brands first (not sure why) but I just wasn't thrilled with any of them. But since purchasing and using this bait it has been nothing less than spectacular for me. Not only have I caught bass but I have caught an array of other species as well. I rig these on the Zman 1/12 oz. Finesse EyeZ heads; they are a perfect match. I paired one of these little ElaZtech swimbaits with a 1/32 oz Owner Blockhead jig and have been catching bass at local ponds like crazy. The amazing thing about these is how soft yet durable they are. I just had to change out my last slim swimz after catching and releasing close to 90 bass in the 12ā - 16ā range on the same bait!! Try doing that with another regular soft swimbait. These would be worth it at twice the price with as durable as they are. For a little different action try rigging them with the jighead through the side instead of the top. The bait shimmys and planes higher in the water. They crush this bait!
This little lure has become my shallow water favourite, Iāve caught Flatties, Bream, Trevorās and more pike then I can use for livies or big dead baits when I found a school. Caught more fish on the 2.5inch then on the 3inch. 1/6 or a 1/8 2 or 1 TT Head locks jig head fishes the best. This is my most productive colour for clear skies and clear water.

I decided to put a 2.5ā slim swimz as a trailer, and now Iāve found my all time favorite lure. I add a drop of super glue, because it doesnāt have a bait keeper. Iāve caught tiny pumpkinseeds and small perch, monster crappie, all the way up to 7 lb bass and big catfish. And they work in salt water too! Iāve caught redfish and speckled trout on this setup too! I normally donāt use paddle tails with chatter baits because the blade offsets the paddle tail, but these work perfectly together. Iāll never use an in-line spinner again, because this is better in every way. The slim swimz also goes great on the back of small jigs, drop shots, and Ned rigs, and you can replace the beetle on a beetle spin. Iāve only used 3 colors, pearl, baby bass, and watermelon red.
