I'm not foodie and I can't wax on in great detail about rice. But what I can say is we eat a lot of rice and this cooker will make it restaurant grade. We've done at least 6 batches of rice in the first few weeks and each time it's been great. Operation is very simple once you figure out the menus (it took me 10 mins) and cleaning this is ridiculously easy. The bowl is bonkers thick and really smooth/slick. Dried rice wipes off after a 10 minute soak in water (if you don't clean it right after use). The construction of this is rock solid and the details they paid attention to are impressive: 1) A ridge that is high enough to prevent water going into the induction heat bowl, 2) handle dips so you can take the bowl out easily, 3) lid removal is impossibly simple, etc. ... MoreI'm not foodie and I can't wax on in great detail about rice. For the price of this device there were several things we instantly noticed/missed from our Neuro Fuzzy. 1) The cord is not retractable and we use the rice cooker quite a lot so it's inconvenient to stuff it back behind the device. 2) this was our first induction rice cooker and did not realize how loud it is when cooking and continual beeping when rice is being kept warm. It is livable but not ideal. 3) There's no rice paddle holder so we are constantly knocking over the rice paddle when it's standing on the counter next to the cooker as intended, it ends up being laid out on top of the device instead. 4) There is no handle to pick up and move the cooker, our Neuro Fuzzy had a handle we could swing up from behind which came in handy more often than one would think.

I had the previous version of the induction rice cooker but decided to upgrade to the newest version. I liked the flat top and the built in steam vent, as well as the self cleaning function, although I have not tried it yet. I have used it once so far, for basmati rice, and it cooked flawlessly. It looks beautiful and stores easily in my cabinet. At first I missed the handle, but it actually is easier to store since the indents on the bottom make it easier to maneuver in and out of the cabinet. I loved the previous version and I am sure I will love this upgrade as well. Plus it’s gorgeous!

My wife and I have never owned a rice cooker and decided it would help now that we have twins! anything to make our lives easier and this thing is amazing. We have tried each type of setting and grain like rice, oats, quinoa, and each time it is perfection. We really wish we got it sooner. It's small enough that we can store it away after each use and still use it daily. All the pieces are easy to clean and simple to assemble. Really all around perfect and glad we got it.
Zojirushi brand is a beast in rice cooker’s market. Their rice cookers are the best, I’ve used this brand for 5 years. My first one was a hands down which just broke, after 8 years of use.I got this brand new model and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m enjoying the steamer option which makes meal prep super easy. The only complaint of that it’s a little too loud but I don’t mind it much expect when my baby’s sleeping. Overall, it’s a beast. Rice comes perfect every time. The display is very sleek and easy to read. It has double non stick coating so very easy to maintain and clean.I highly recommend it if you’re looking to buy a new rice cook. It’s a splurge for sure but it is worth it!!
Homemade rice never tasted this good! We just love the Zojirushi Induction Heating Rice Cooker & Warmer, it is by far the best rice cooker we have ever owned. If you want rice that is consistently flawless, just as you would find at a Chinese restaurant. It is quite simple to use; just measure and wash the rice, fill water to the line, and let it cook for about one hour. The cook time is longer than cooking rice in a pot, but it turns out perfect every single time. Both the lid and the metal bowl are simple to clean. I would highly recommend this rice cooker and are planning to buy one for my mom for Christmas!
This is such a beauty and a wonderful productive addition to my kitchen appliances family and an absolutely must. I can't cook rice for the life of me but I can with this well technically the rice Cooker is doing the work but still it is a success. Took about 56 min and the best part it kept the rice warm till everyone joined for dinner I no longer have to reheat it! Cleaning was super easy and you need to remember to remove the part on the inside of the lid. There is a steam vent that you need to keep away from. The rice Cooker doesn't take much counter space yet can make 5 cups. It also comes with a plastic cup a steaming tray and self standing rice spatula to help fluff the rice. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen and I am beyond happy with the results.

But with this rice cooker it has made it so easy to come out with perfect rice every time you cook! This is the smaller version so for a family of three that is the size we needed. Anything larger would be a waste. It has several settings for different types of rice as well as oatmeal, quinoa, steam and more. It also has a self clean feature which I think all cooking appliances should have. The only thing is that it is a little bit loud but not that much of a issue for me. So far I have only tried rice in mine but I am looking forward to trying more things. The booklet that comes with it gives a ton of ideas. At first it was a bit confusing but using the instruction booklet helped as it goes through each step thoroughly. The machine is very sturdy and has a little weight to it. The size of the cooking pot is nice and shows the variety of cups needed to use for each rice dish.. It is very easy to clean. I like the multiple rice options and the added steamer option is a great feature. The automatic timer seems long but ended early due to its temperature control built in. The rice was nice and fluffy, very east to set and go. The automatic temperature regulates the correct time needed for each type of rice you are using so it never overcooks. The warming feature keeps it nice and warm after cooking so it is still hot when you are ready to serve and eat.
